摘要:
The present invention relates to a method for detecting loss in DRX synchronization in a telecommunications system. The present invention further relates to a base station configured to perform the method for detecting the loss in DRX synchronization. The method comprises the steps of assigning radio resources to a UE for enabling the UE to send uplink information to the base station. The method further comprises the step of detecting loss in DRX synchronization when information that is expected by the base station is absent on the assigned resource(s).

Method in a user equipment (120), a user equipment (120), a method in a base station (110) and a base station (110) for setting values of system parameters used within a wireless communication system (100). A first set of parameter values and an associated first tag is sent from the base station (110) to be received and stored by the user equipment (120). Further, a second set of parameter values and an associated second tag is sent from the base station (110) to be received and stored by the user equipment (120). When the base station (110) determine to change system information parameters, a command tag is sent, to be received by the user equipment (120), which apply the set of parameter values associated with the tag corresponding to the received command tag.

method and an arrangement (800) in a radio network node (140) for sharing of a first Cell Radio Network Temporary Identifier, referred to as “C-RNTI” between at least a first and a second communication device (110, 120) are provided. The radio network node (140) receives a first random access preamble from the first communication device (110). Furthermore, the radio network node (140) associates the first C-RNTI to the first communication device (110), in response to the first random access preamble. The radio network node (140) receives a second random access preamble from the second communication device (120). Moreover, the radio network node (140) associates the first C-RNTI to the second communication device (120), in response to the second random access preamble, while the association of the first C-RNTI to the first communication device (110) is maintained. A method and an arrangement (900) in a first communication device (110) for enabling sharing of a first Cell Radio Network Temporary Identifier between at least the first communication device (110) and a second communication device (120) are provided.

The mobile station described herein comprises a transmission buffer, a receiver, a transmitter, and a controller. The controller triggers a scheduling request and buffer status report when data enters the transmission buffer. When the receiver receives a contention-based scheduling grant allocating contention-based uplink resources, the transmitter transmits one or more data packets retrieved from the transmission buffer along with the buffer status report on the contention-based resources to the network station. If one or more data packets remain in the transmission buffer after transmission of the buffer status report on the contention-based resources, the controller maintains the pending status of the buffer status report and the corresponding scheduling request.

Method and arrangement in a first base station for scheduling in a TDD wireless network, which wireless network comprises the first base station serving a user equipment, and a second base station. The method comprises detecting that the second base station uses a different TDD configuration, instructing the user equipment to provide a signal strength measurement report based on a signal received from the second base station, receiving the measurement report, and allocating resources to the user equipment based on the received measurement report. Thereby is allocation of resources in TTIs not having the same uplink-downlink direction in the first base station and the second base station respectively, is avoided for the user equipment, when the received signal strength measurement report indicates that such allocation is appropriate. Also, a method and arrangement in a user equipment for scheduling in a TDD wireless network is described.

The present invention provides methods and apparatus for selectively notifying user equipments (UEs) of updated access barring statuses and for spreading access attempts by the UEs. The methods and apparatus disclosed in the present application reduce potential overloads in a radio access network caused by UEs simultaneously accessing the radio network, after being notified that access restrictions have been removed.

In data transmission between a mobile network and a terminal device an uplink control channel resource is allocated to the terminal device and to at least one further terminal device. Further, a shared identifier is assigned to both the terminal device and the at least one further terminal device. Using the allocated uplink control channel resource, the mobile network receives a scheduling request from the terminal device. In response to receiving the scheduling request, the mobile network sends an uplink grant. The uplink grant is addressed by the shared identifier to the terminal device and to the at least one further terminal device. Further, the mobile network receives uplink data from the terminal device, which is accomplished on uplink resources indicated by the uplink grant.

Method and arrangement in a base station for providing feedback to user equipments in a cell concerning the reception status of data received from the user equipments. The base station and the user equipments are comprised in a wireless communication system, adapted for contention based transmissions. The method comprises sending a contention based grant to a plurality of user equipments within the cell, receiving data from any user equipment and verifying if the data is correctly received. Also, the method comprises sending feedback to any user equipment that has used the contention based grant, wherein the feedback comprises an ACK, if it is verified that data has been correctly received from at least one user equipment and the feedback comprises a NACK if it is verified that data has not been correctly received from any user equipment. Also, a corresponding method and arrangement in a user equipment is described.
摘要:
According to the teachings presented herein, a base station implements active queue management (AQM) for uplink transmissions from user equipment (UE), such as a mobile terminal. The base station, e.g., an eNodeB in a Long Term Evolution (LTE) network, uses buffer status reports, for example, to estimate packet delays for packets in the UE's uplink transmit buffer. In one embodiment, a (base station) method of AQM for the uplink includes estimating at least one of a transmit buffer size and a transmit buffer queuing delay for a UE, and selectively dropping or congestion-marking packets received at the base station from the UE. The selective dropping or marking is based on the estimated transmit buffer size and/or the estimated transmit buffer queuing delay.
