    摘要: A high-strength, high-workability steel sheet for cans contains 0.070% to less than 0.080% C, 0.003% to 0.10% Si, 0.51% to 0.60% Mn, and the like on a mass basis and has a tensile strength of 500 MPa or more and a yield elongation of 10% or more. The average size and elongation rate of crystal grains are 5 μm or more and 2.0 or less, respectively, in cross section in the rolling direction thereof. The hardness difference obtained by subtracting the average Vickers hardness of a cross section ranging from a surface to a depth equal to one-eighth of the thickness of the sheet from the average Vickers hardness of a cross section ranging from a depth equal to three-eighths of the sheet thickness to a depth equal to four-eighths of the sheet thickness is 10 points or more and/or the maximum Vickers hardness difference is 20 points or more.

    摘要: A steel sheet undergone precipitation strengthening and refinement in crystal grain size by containing at least one element of 0.005% to 0.05% of Nb, 0.005% to 0.05% of Ti, and 0.0005% to 0.005% of B as a chemical composition is produced through continuous annealing. A steel containing at least one element of Nb, Ti, and B is hot rolled, cooled at a cooling rate of 40° C./s or less, and coiled at 550° C. or higher to facilitate precipitation of cementite after recrystallization annealing. As a result, a steel sheet for a can having a tensile strength of 450 to 550 MPa, a total elongation of 20% or more, and a yield elongation of 5% or less is produced.

    摘要: An air dryer unit includes an air storage tank including an elongated hollow body of a one-piece construction having a partition wall disposed therewithin to divide the interior of the tank body into a first chamber and a second chamber in an air-tight manner. The second chamber has an outlet connectable to a pneumatic circuit. An opening is formed through that portion of the tank body defining the first chamber. An air dryer device includes a dryer including a tubular housing containing a desiccant and extending through the opening into the first chamber, and a hollow cover member detachably coupled to the dryer housing to cover that portion of the dryer housing extending outwardly through the opening. The cover member is detachably coupled to outer surface of the tank body and has an inlet connectable to an air compressor. One end of the dryer housing disposed in the first chamber communicates with the first chamber while the other end communicates with the cover member. Compressed air from the air compressor is introduced into the inlet and passed through the cover member and the dryer housing into the first chamber. Means is provided for communicating the first chamber with the second chamber for flowing the compressed air from the first chamber to the second chamber. A check valve is associated with the communicating means to prevent a backflow of the compressed air from the second chamber to the first chamber.

An elongated desiccant container is mounted within the housing and holding a desiccant therein. One end of the desiccant container communicates with the inlet port while the other end communicates with the outlet port, so that the compressed air fed to the inlet port is passed through the desiccant container to be dried and is discharged from the outlet port. At least part of the desiccant container is transparent. An inspection window is mounted on the housing in opposed relation to the transparent part of the desiccant container so that the desiccant in the desiccant container can be viewed from outside the housing through the inspection window and the transparent part of the desiccant container.

    摘要: In a method for producing a two-piece can, a circular disk of a laminated steel sheet having a thermoplastic resin coating layer is subjected to multistage forming to produce a final formed body having a height h, a maximum radius r, and a minimum radius d (the case where r is equal to d is also included). Forming is performed so that the height h, maximum radius r, and minimum radius d of the final formed body satisfy the relationships 0.1≦d/R≦0.25 and 1.5≦h/(R−r)≦4 with respect to a radius R of a circular disk before forming whose weight is equal to that the final formed body. At an intermediate stage of forming, a formed body is subjected to heat treatment at a temperature of not less than a melting point of a thermoplastic resin but not more than a temperature 30° C. higher than the melting point.

    摘要: We manufacture a two-piece can by the method using a laminated steel sheet as the base material, having the steps of: drawing a cylindrical blank for several times to form a can body in a shape of cylinder integrated with bottom; forming a tapered part extending outward from the can body in the radial direction thereof at the tip of the opening of the can body; applying diametral reduction to the tapered part to the diameter of the can body; and applying diametral reduction to the opening side of the can body to a diameter smaller than the diameter of the can body, while satisfying the formulae (1) and (2), 1.5≦h/(R−R)  (1) d/R≦0.25  (2) where h is the height from the can bottom to the tip of the opening, R is the circular blank positional radius, r is the radius of the can bottom, and d is the radius of the tip of the opening.
