摘要： A system estimates accessibility on the basis of information of a requesting device and digital rights management information of content when a utilization request of the content is raised through a network. In a device including a hard disk for storing a plurality of content files and having a networking function for transmitting the content file to other device, a utilization condition and a utilization state are so managed as to correspond to the content file and when a utilization request of a content file is made, utilizability of the content file is judged from a utilization object in the utilization request and from information of a transmitting device of the utilization request. When utilization is not judged as possible, a report is made to the transmitting device of the utilization request to the effect that the content file cannot be utilized.

A controller to move contents that moves the content stored in a first storage unit to a second storage unit, includes means for rendering the content to be playback impracticable, the content remaining in the first storage unit and corresponding to the content having been moved to the second storage unit, storing means for storing information regarding content movement, including information which specifies the content in the first storage unit and the second storage unit, selecting means for selecting one of continuously moving or reconstructing the content in the first storage unit when a failure occurs, means for verifying the second storage unit as a target and the content therein, by use of the information which specifies the second storage unit as a target and the content, and means for determining a range as to which the content movement is continued or the content is reconstructed, so as to continue one of the content movement and the content reconstruction.

摘要： A surveillance image is acquired from a surveillance camera. Supplement information (such as date and time, and surveillance camera number) relating to the surveillance image is acquired. By imaging the supplement information, supplement information image data is generated. A quantized discrete cosine transform coefficient block obtained by conducting discrete cosine transform and then quantization on surveillance image data of the surveillance image is added to a quantized discrete cosine transform coefficient block obtained by conducting discrete cosine transform and then quantization on the supplement information image data. A resultant sum is subjected to Huffman encoding. The result is recorded.
