摘要： Fine grained material such as ground raw cement is delivered in a stream from a preheater to an upright gas conduit through which furnace exhaust gases flow to the preheater. In different cross-sectional areas of the conduit the velocity of the gas differs. The stream of material falls upon a distributor in the conduit to distribute the material over the cross-sectional area of the conduit. The distributed material falls through a combustion zone and a substantial fraction of such material is entrained by the exhaust gas and passes again through the combustion zone enroute to the preheater. The distributor is adjustable to enable the concentration of material in different cross-sectional areas of the conduit to vary according to differences in the gas velocities in such cross-sectional areas.

摘要： A roller crushing mill has a housing within which is a plurality of angularly spaced crushing rollers that bear on a grinding plate rotatable about a vertical axis. Above each roller is a sifter for the reception of crushed material. Nozzles positioned in the vicinity of the rollers establish upwardly directed airstreams at the periphery of the grinding plate to entrain crushed material thrown off the grinding plate and deliver such crushed material to the sifters. Other nozzles positioned between adjacent ones of the rollers at the periphery of the grinding plate direct airstreams inwardly of the plate toward the crushing track to feed material to the crushing track.

摘要： A plurality of cooling tubes are arranged in planetary fashion about the periphery of the kiln. An inlet for each cooling tube includes a transition member extending from one end of each tube, which transition member comprises the wall of an inclined frustum whose base lies on the end of the cooling tube in a plane perpendicular to the axis of the tube. An inlet tube has one end intersecting the wall of the kiln and its other end intersecting the wall of the transition member, two surface lines of the transition member being tangent to the inlet tube.

摘要： The invention relates to a suspension heat exchanger for heat exchange between gas and fines. It contains a plurality of cyclone separators which lie one above another with their axes aligned vertically and in which the cover walls and the inlet pipe connections of the substantially straight upper parts of the cyclones are inclined at an acute angle with respect to the horizontal. This contributes to a particularly simple and space-saving overall construction and to a favourable material separation with relatively low pressure loss.

摘要： The cooling apparatus which is preferably constructed in the form of a grate cooler contains in its material inlet portion a material transfer arrangement with at least two rows lying behind one another of transversely extending air boxes which can be supplied with air and have upper surfaces with air holes. The clear opening width of these air holes (area for the air to pass through) is adjustable, so that all air boxes can be supplied independently of one another with adjustable quantities of air. In this way the streams of cooling air can be adapted to differing local ranges of grain sizes of the clinker on the material transfer arrangement.
