The present invention relates to an agricultural machine for harvesting plant matter including: a mobile frame; a draw bar connected to the mobile frame; a harvesting mechanism having two conditioning units, each one provided with two contra-rotating conditioning members; and transmission members intended to impart movement to the conditioning units and including a transmission box equipped with a first output shaft and with a second output shaft. The inner end of each first conditioning member is supported by the corresponding first output shaft, and a transmission device of each second conditioning member couples an end thereof to the corresponding second output shaft.

A cutting machine which includes a hitching structure supporting, via a suspension arm, an elongated cutting mechanism connected to the suspension arm by one articulation of horizontal longitudinal axis pointing in the direction of travel during work, and a locking device intended in the transport position to lock automatically this one articulation. The locking device includes a connecting member connected on the one hand to the cutting mechanism by another articulation of geometric axis substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the one articulation, and on the other hand to the hitching structure by a connection allowing, in the work position, a movement of the connecting member with respect to the hitching structure, and preventing, in the transport position, a movement of the connecting member with respect to the hitching structure.

An agricultural machine includes a body, a connecting mechanism, an operating device for pivoting the connecting mechanism into at least two working positions, transmission elements which include at least one gearbox, and a control mechanism intended to pivot the gearbox into operating positions corresponding to the working positions of the connecting mechanism. In accordance with the invention, the control mechanism is installed, among others, between the gearbox and the operating device. This control mechanism can also include a first control cylinder installed between the connecting mechanism and the body and connected in series to a second control cylinder installed between the body and the gearbox.

A farm machine and particularly a mower or harvester, which includes a load-lightening and lifting device having an elastically deformable element mounted parallel with a jack or lift cylinder. According to the invention, the farm machine includes a piston which is separated from a rod of the jack and the rod includes a stop against which the piston is intended to come to rest, such that in a first mode of operation (during work), the rod can slide in the cylinder without a stop of the rod touching the piston, which allows a normal operation of an elastically deformable element. In addition, in a second mode of operation (during transport), the piston is brought into contact with the stop of the rod under the action of the fluid of a feed source, to displace the rod in relation to the cylinder.

The lightening device includes second hydraulic jacks articulated on the frame and on the harvesting mechanism and connected by hydraulic circuits to first hydraulic jacks so as to be able to be actuated by the first hydraulic jacks and to hydropneumatic accumulators.

The device for the mounting/disassembly and automatic tension adjustment of the endless transmission member is fitted in such a way that an action generated by a spiral spring acts on a second bearing with a lever arm with respect to a geometric axis of an articulation connecting the second bearing to a bearing structure which increases once the spiral spring relaxes.

A treatment device for treating cut fodder includes a treatment rotor, first and second supports, and a driving device for driving the treatment rotor. The first support of the treatment device is located near a first end of the treatment rotor. The first support includes a first bearing in which the first end of the treatment rotor is guided in its rotation. The driving device includes a transmission device. The transmission device includes a first and second wheels, at least one endless transmission member, and a regulating or adjusting mechanism for regulating or adjusting the tension in the at least one endless transmission member. The second wheel of the transmission device is mounted on the first end of the treatment rotor. The at least one endless transmission member is wound around both the first and second wheels of the transmission device. The treatment device for treating cut fodder is characterized in that the regulating or adjusting mechanism for adjusting the tension in the endless transmission member includes the first bearing of the first support of the treatment device and the second wheel of the transmission device such that both the first bearing and the second wheel can be moved away from the first wheel of the transmission device in order to arrive at a desired position of adjustment. The regulating or adjusting mechanism also includes a retaining device for retaining the first bearing and the second wheel in the desired position of adjustment. The retaining device includes a tensioning member.
