    摘要: A flex wing cutter is equipped with a splitter gearbox and a plurality of drivelines. Each driveline is coupled to the splitter gearbox via a clutch assembly, and supplies power to a drive gearbox and cutting blade assembly on a wing of the flex wing cutter. Each clutch assembly is equipped to an actuator, the actuator configured to selectively engage or disengage the driveline from receiving rotational power from the splitter gearbox. Each actuator can be remotely controlled from a control located in a cab of a towing vehicle, such as a tractor, allowing an operator of the flex wing cutter to remotely deactivate the cutting blade assemblies of either or both wings of a flex wing cutter.

    摘要: A disc cutter for an agricultural implement includes: a mounting bar including a bar opening; a bolt disposed in the bar opening; a knife nut including a nut opening in which the bolt is disposed; a knife including a knife opening in which the knife nut is disposed, the knife being configured to rotate about a rotation axis defined by the knife nut; and a spring plate biased towards the mounting bar and having a recess formed therein. The knife nut has a portion held in the recess and a bottom of the portion acts as a stop against movement of the spring plate towards the mounting bar.

The carrier assembly (8) includes a carrier arm (12) and a suspension system (16) by which the operating unit (6) is suspended from the carrier arm (12). The suspension system (16) including two pairs of connecting rods, comprising a pair of upper connecting rods (28) and a pair of lower connecting rods (30), each said connecting rod being attached via joints (32) to the operating unit (6) and the carrier arm (12). A first pair (30) of said upper and lower connecting rods diverge in a working direction of the operating unit and a second pair (28) and of said upper and lower connecting rods converge in a working direction of the operating unit.
