The drive apparatus includes a hydraulic pump for attachment to the hitching arm, a mechanical drive shaft for operation of the hydraulic pump upon attachment of the drive shaft to the power take-off shaft of the powered vehicle, and connections for hydraulic fluid lines for delivery and return of hydraulic fluid to and from a hydraulic motor for operation of the mechanical components of the pull-type crop harvester. The apparatus may include an articulation assembly to isolate the drive for the pump from movements between the hitching arm and the vehicle.

摘要： A pull-type harvesting machine is adapted for laterally offset attachment to a tractor. The machine has a frame and a harvesting head supported by the frame including a cutting apparatus for cutting crops as the machine is towed across a field, and a gear box operably connected with the cutting apparatus. A pull tongue is pivotally coupled to the frame about a first vertical axis for varying the position of the machine relative to the tractor. A mechanical drive line extends along and is rotatably supported by the pull tongue for supplying driving power to the cutting apparatus through the gear box. The gear box is pivotally mounted on the header about a second vertical axis spaced from the first vertical axis. The drive line includes a fixed position portion and a telescoping portion supported at fore and aft ends by the tongue and the gear box, respectively. A shielding arrangement surrounds the telescoping portion of the drive line and is connected to the gear box for steering the gear box in response to movement of the pull tongue by pivoting the gear box about the second vertical axis. Alternatively, a bearing arrangement may be interconnected with the gear box for steering the gear box in response to movement of the pull tongue by pivoting the gear box about the second vertical axis.

摘要： A mower with a hitch system allows large lateral offsets in both directions of the mower relative to a towing vehicle. The mower hitch system includes first and second swing arms spaced apart across the mower. First and second pivot shafts mount the respective first and second swing arms on the mower for pivotal movement of the arms about respective upright axes spaced apart across the mower. The swing arms extend towards a front end of the mower for connecting to lift arms of a three point hitch on the towing vehicle. A lug extends from the first pivot shaft such that the first swing arm and the lug form a bell crank. A hydraulic cylinder mounted on the front end of the mower connects to the lug such that extension and contraction of the cylinder pivots the first swing arm laterally over the cylinder and across the mower. The towing vehicle also includes a power take off for connecting to a telescoping drive shaft assembly with universal joints on the mower. The mower includes a primary gearbox with an input connected to the drive shaft assembly and two secondary drive shafts positioned on opposite lateral sides of the primary gearbox for driving respective mower blades. Two secondary drive shafts connect the primary gearbox to the respective secondary gearboxes. The primary gearbox is mounted rearwards of the secondary gearboxes.

摘要： A mechanism for adjusting the cutting height of a mower deck, which includes a four bar linkage with a pair of beam members, a rod member extending between the two beams. Rotation of the rod by the operator causes the beams to shift relative to each other, which causes the four bar linkage to raise or lower the mower deck. A projecting member is biased toward engagement with a detent formed in the rod member for securing the mower deck at the selected cutting height, and allows the operator to sense when the projecting member rides past the detent as the cutting height is incrementally adjusted.

The linkage beam includes at least one transverse joint shaft and the first rotor includes a toothed ring which meshes with a first gear wheel which is formed as one piece with a drive shaft and with a second gear wheel which is formed as one piece with a transmission shaft which extends to the second rotor and which includes a third gear wheel which meshes with a toothed ring of this rotor. The transmission shaft is housed in the linkage beam and is pivotable with the latter about the axle of the first rotor, the transmission shaft including at least one universal joint at the level of the joint shaft the linkage beam.

摘要： A cutting device includes a cutting mechanism, a hitching structure designed to be connected to a motor vehicle, a support beam joined to the hitching structure and to the cutting mechanism and a traction device. The traction device is comprised of at least one draw-spring designed to lighten the cutting mechanism during operation and a control device designed to void the action of the at least one draw-spring when the cutting device is placed. The control device has, among other things, a rod at one of the ends to which the at least one draw-spring is attached. The control device is comprised of a cylinder which has the rod, a body, a piston which separates the body into first and second chambers, and a fluid circuit which has a device which allows the fluid to enter the first chamber located on the side of the at least one draw-spring when the latter must be tightened, and allows the fluid to leave the first chamber when the at least one draw-spring must be relaxed.
