The preparation process of a purified green-tea extract containing, in the solid content thereof, from 36 to 99 mass % of non-polymer catechins comprises bringing a green tea extract into contact with a mixed solution containing an organic solvent and water at a mass ratio of from 65/35 to 97/3 and active carbon and/or acid clay or active clay, adjusting the organic solvent/water mass ratio of the resulting solution to from 0/100 to 85/15, and then separating the turbidity component thus separated.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a packaged beverage of high catechin content, wherein (a) it contains from 55 to 90 wt % of non-polymer catechins based on a solid content of the purified product of green tea extract, and (b) when the purified product of green tea is formed into an aqueous solution containing the non-polymer catechins at a concentration of 1 wt %, the aqueous solution has a b* value of from 39 to 10 as measured by a calorimeter and a total light transmittance (τt) of from 83% to 95% as measured by a turbidometer, and wherein the content of the non-polymer catechin in which the purified product of the green tea is incorporated is from 0.06 to 1.0 wt %. The packaged beverage of the present invention contains non-polymer catechins at a high concentration, has a good flavor and taste, remains free from the formation and settling of precipitates over a long period of time, and is suited for long-term drinking.

Even in a form filled in an oxygen-permeable, clear container, the non-tea-based, packaged beverage shows excellent color tone stability. The non-tea-based, packaged beverage contains a purified product of green tea extract added to it. The purified product comprises non-polymer catechins in its solid constituents and has a content weight ratio of (B) oxalic acid to (A) the non-polymer catechins [(B)/(A)] in a range of from 0 to 0.002. The non-tea-based, packaged beverage comprises the following ingredients (A) to (D): (A) from 0.03 to 0.6 wt % of non-polymer catechins, (B) oxalic acid or a salt thereof at an ingredient (B)/ingredient (A) of from 0 to 0.02, (C) caffeine at an ingredient (C)/ingredient (A) weight ratio of from 0 to 0.16, and (D) from 0.03 to 1.0 wt % of a sour seasoning, and has a pH of from 2 to 6.

    摘要: In ultrasonic diagnostic equipment processing signals echo-reflected from ultrasonic pulses beamed into a patient and providing composite display of patient-related diagnostic information including organic information, the comprehensive diagnostic information is discretely stored as various imaging data into separate display memories, and is furthermore externally storable through VTR recording such that the information can be retrieved for regeneration. A selector selects between either real-time imaging derived from the display memories, or regeneration imaging obtained from a pseudo-video combined signal stored in the VTR, for input to a color palette as an imaging processor which color encodes and combines data for composite imaging. Separate imaging modification processes are post real-time executable upon the discretely regenerated imaging data retrieved from the VTR for altered display on a monitor of the equipment.

    摘要: A cationic group-containing copolymer is provided which possesses excellent thixotropy and exhibits high adsorbability to the skin, hair, etc. and, when incorporated as a thickener in cosmetic articles, manifests a very satisfactory tactile sensation. The cationic group-containing copolymer is characterized in that the viscosity at 25.degree. C. of the aqueous solution prepared by incorporating the copolymer in deionized water at a concentration of 0.5 wt. % is in the range of 0.3-20 Pa.multidot.sec. at a shear rate of 1 sec.sup.-1 and in the range of 0.01-5 Pa.multidot.sec. at a shear rate of 10 sec.sup.-1 and the viscosity at a shear rate of 1 sec.sup.-1 is higher than the viscosity at a shear rate of 10 sec.sup.-1. This cationic group-containing copolymer is obtained by particularly using a cationic group-containing vinyl monomer, a hydrophilic nonionic group-containing vinyl monomer such as N,N-dimethyl (meth)acrylamide or N,N-diethyl (meth)acrylamide, and a cross-linking vinyl monomer containing at least two vinyl groups in the molecular unit thereof as essential component monomers and radically polymerizing the essential component monomers. A thickener made of the copolymer is also disclosed.
