摘要: A mirror assembly particularly adopted as a side view mirror for a vehicle, the assembly being provided a mirror, a mounting plate for supporting the mirror, a light assembly having a lens at one end, a visor for accommodating the mirror and the light assembly. A joint element pivotally mounts a side of the light assembly to the mounting plate. The visor has a visor opening into which the lens is fitted, and a connection element for movably connecting an end of the visor opening and an end of the lens. A bias element in the form of a spring pivotally biases the end of the light assembly having the lens such that the connection element substantially closes any gap between the visor opening and the lens.

摘要: A mirror surface angle detector which can be used in common with a mirror surface angle adjusting device of a mirror. The mirror surface angle of the mirror is adjusted by oscillation of the mirror by the mirror surface angle adjusting device. The mirror surface angle detector for detecting the mirror surface angle of the mirror is provided separately from the mirror surface angle adjusting device, and is incorporated into the mirror surface angle adjusting device such that engagement claws provided at the mirror surface angle detector engage with engagement holes provided at the mirror surface angle adjusting device. When the mirror surface angle detector is removed from the mirror surface angle adjusting device, the mirror surface angle adjusting device can also be used in a type of vehicle which does not have a mirror surface angle detector in the mirror surface angle adjusting device. Therefore, vehicles of different types can make common use of the mirror surface angle adjusting device.

摘要: In a mirror surface angle adjusting device of the present invention, supplying terminals of a connector is inserted into insertion holes of a case thereby electric power is supplied to a motor within the case. Thus the motor is driven to adjust the mirror surface angle of the mirror body. A closing plate of the connector substantially closes the interior of first waterproofing walls provided on a periphery of the insertion holes. A second water proofing wall is provided at the connector. In this way, it is possible to suppress entering of water into the first waterproofing walls.

摘要: For reproducing and/or recording information from/onto an optical disc, a pickup is used to detect a target track on the disc through an optical beam. In carriage servo control, movement of the pickup is servo-controlled in the radial direction of the optical disc. In this control, a tracking error signal is produced by a preamplifier. A pulse signal is produced, in which the period of the pulse signal is set to a constant amount corresponding to the accuracy of movement of the pickup. Based on the pulse signal and the tracking error signal, a carriage control signal to move the pickup is produced. The carriage control signal is then supplied to a carriage motor by a driver, so that the pickup is moved.

摘要: The present invention relates to ruthenium complex compound wherein a heteroatom-containing carbene compound having a six-membered ring structure is bonded to ruthenium and a process for the preparation thereof; a process for producing ring-opened cyclic olefin polymer by subjecting a cyclic olefin to ring-opening metathesis polymerization in the presence of such a ruthenium complex compound; and a process for producing hydrogenated product of ring-opened cyclic olefin polymers by hydrogenating the carbon-carbon double bonds of the above ring-opened polymers. The invention gives hydrogenated product of ring-opened cyclic olefin polymers having physical properties different from those of hydrogenated product of ring-opened polymers of the prior art. Particularly, the use of dicyclopentadiene can give a hydrogenated product of ring-opened cyclic olefin polymer excellent in heat resistance, and this product can be advantageously used as parts or formed products for medical appliances or electrical components.

摘要: For reproducing information recorded on an optical disc, a pickup is used to detect a target track on the disc through an optical beam. The duty ratio of the pulse signal is changed based on characteristic of the error signal, so that a changed pulse signal is produced. The changed pulse signal is multiplied by the tracking error signal, so that a carriage control signal is produced. The carriage control signal is supplied to a carriage motor by a driver, so that the pickup is moved.
