    摘要: An optical fiber assembly includes: a component defining at least one inlet for optical fibers, an adapter, an optical fiber cable connected to the adapter, and a push-fit connector. The component includes a through-hole for passage of the optical fibers and an associated mating region to engage the push-fit connector. The optical fiber cable connected to the adapter defines a connection region with a predetermined cross-sectional shape for mating with the push-fit connector. The push-fit connector includes a first end, a second end, and a through-passage extending between the first and second ends. The first end is push-fit connected with the mating region. The second end is push-fit connected to the connection region. Optical fibers from the optical fiber cable can be directed through the push-fit connector and the through-hole. A method of installing optical fibers in a joint housing is also disclosed.

The device (10) is suitable for electrical and optical cables.

Patching tubes may pass down and out through the aperture (99) at the back of the module.

Primary and secondary flexibility suites include joined blown fibre tubes routed as desired within the installation. A continuous blown fibre unit may extend through the joined blown fibre tubes. A blown fibre tube flexibility module may have a patching panel which may be provided with connectors. Above the panel may be a set of bend control vanes or mandrels one for each of the connector sites in the panel. Patching tubes may pass down and out through an aperture at the back of the module.
