摘要： A dual coagulant toner process comprising adding a first component comprising an ionic salt to a latex emulsion of resin having a colorant mixed therein, to form a latex emulsion; adding a second component comprising an organo-metallic aggregating agent to the latex emulsion by agitation at a temperature above a glass transition temperature of the resin, thereby forming a product mixture; subsequently cooling the product mixture to a temperature below the glass transition temperature of the resin, in order to form toner particles; and optionally, isolating the toner particles.

摘要： The present disclosure provides processes for producing images of excellent color fidelity when incorporating a magenta toner with a lower colorant loading in addition to a first magenta toner. In embodiments, the magenta pigmented particles may be magenta emulsion aggregation toners. In accordance with the present disclosure, a pair of magenta toners are matched in color, wherein the color of a first magenta toner printed at a predetermined halftone area coverage on a substrate substantially matches the color of the solid (100%) printed patch of the second magenta toner, which is lighter than the first magenta toner, thus avoiding a visible hue shift on the print that would otherwise be objectionable. In embodiments, the light magenta toner is color matched by adding a hue-adjusting colorant or combination of colorants which absorb wavelengths of light between 400 and 500 nanometers, and optionally adding a shade-adjusting colorant or combination of colorants which absorb wavelengths of light between 600 and 700 nanometers.

摘要： Improved toner particles having a core-shell structure and related processes thereof are provided. The core of the toner comprises a first polymer, a complexed cationic dye pigment, and a heteropoly acid, and the shell comprises a second polymer. The heteropoly acid can effectively retain the complexed cationic dye pigment within the toner particle by complexing with one or more of the pigment cations, thereby improving the toner properties such as parent charge.

摘要： Toner particles, preferably emulsion aggregation toner particles, have improved relative humidity sensitivity through inclusion therein of silicate clay particles such as kaolin clay. The toner particles include a binder, preferably an acrylate-containing binder, at least one colorant, and silicate clay particles distributed in the binder. In a core-shell embodiment, the silicate particles are distributed in the core, the shell layer, or both. Developers of the toner in combination with carrier particles are also described.
