Abstract:
A power tool includes a housing assembly having a first housing portion and a second housing portion supported for pivoting movement relative to the first housing portion about a pivot axis. The first housing portion supports a motor. The second housing portion includes a chuck for supporting a tool element. The power tool also includes a gear supported within the housing assembly for rotation relative to at least one of the first and second housing portions about the pivot axis. The gear is operable to transfer drive force from the motor to the tool element.
Abstract:
A combination electrical box and mounting bracket assembly is provided which includes an electrical box and a mounting bracket attached to the electrical box. The mounting bracket is configured and dimensioned for enabling the mounting bracket to be secured to a truss joist, especially to a floor truss joist, such as a TGI floor I truss joist. The mounting bracket is contoured to resemble the shape of a portion of the floor truss joist at which the mounting bracket is secured to. The combination assembly significantly reduces the force applied to the electrical box by electrical equipment and/or devices connected to wires/cable received by the electrical box as compared to prior art mounting brackets by distributing the force to a larger surface area of the mounting bracket and truss joist.
Abstract:
A lever-style de-latch mechanism for a pluggable electronic module, such as an SFP MSA fiber optic transceiver or other pluggable optoelectronic or electronic module. The mechanism is easily accessible to an operator and does not require any tools to operate. The mechanism uses rotational motion of a lever about a horizontal axis transverse to a horizontal direction of elongation of a module, or about a vertical axis (relative to a module extending in a horizontal plane), to cause translational motion of the de-latch actuator. Mechanisms including both T and bail latch style levers are provided. The lever may be adjacent to, or extend beyond, the front/face of the module's housing for tool-free accessibility and operation. The mechanism may allow the user to apply force to actuate the mechanism in a direction that does not oppose a withdrawal and/or module ejection force.
Abstract:
The alkane profile (FIGS. 12-14) comprising the alveolar gradients of n-alkane in breath having 4 carbons to 20 carbons, and the methyl alkane profile (FIGS. 30-34) are determined for the diagnosis of disease in mammals, including humans.
Abstract:
The present invention generally provides a support member adapted to provide vacuum chucking. In one aspect, a support member having an upper surface having an outer, raised portion defining an inner, recessed portion is provided. The inner recessed portion is in fluid communication with a vacuum supply. The support member may include a plurality of raised support portions having one or more recessed portions adjacent thereto, the raised support portions having equal heights above the recessed portions. The transition between the raised portions and the recessed portions is gradual and the orifices formed by the holes extending through the upper surface of the substrate support are rounded to eliminate sharp edges and rapid changes in height at the upper surface.
Abstract:
The alkane profile, comprising the alveolar gradients of n-alkanes in breath having 2 to 20 carbons, and the alveolar gradients of methylated C3-C20 alkanes, is determined for the diagnosis of disease in mammals, including humans.
Abstract:
A method of identifying the orientation of a tissue sample is provided. The method includes the use of a single-use tissue marking system for use in marking a tissue sample. A first surface of the sample is marked with a first ink defined by a first color; a second surface of the tissue is marked with a second ink defined by a second color; and a third surface of the sample is marked with a third ink defined by a third color.
Abstract:
A level for indicating the orientation of each of a surface, a first electrical device, or a second electrical device, the level including a first planar surface, a second planar surface, a web, and a vial. The web is coupled to the first planar surface and the second planar surface such that the first planar surface is spaced apart from and is parallel to the second planar surface. The vial has a long axis and contains a liquid and a gas bubble and is coupled to the web such that the long axis is substantially parallel to the first planar surface. A first perimeter is formed as part of the web, shaped substantially the same as a portion of the first electrical device, and sized to engage the portion of the first electrical device such that the vial is operable to indicate the orientation of the first electrical device.
