摘要: A phosphorescent phosphor comprising a matrix expressed by M.sub.1-x Al.sub.2 O.sub.4-x (except X=0) in which M is at least one metal element selected from a group consisting of calcium, strontium and barium. X is in a range -0.33.ltoreq..times..ltoreq.0.60 (except x=0). 摘要: A colony counting apparatus includes a reading unit with a visual sensor incorporated therein. The presence of a colony is detected at the end of that colony by moving the reading unit along lines selected at an appropriate pitch and by reading data on the individual points set along each line as logical high or low signals. The values obtained in the above-described counting operation are added and stored in an addition/storage device in a CPU, and the results of addition which are stored in the addition/storage device are output to a suitable display by an outputting device when the counting operation is completed.

摘要: An electric conductive polyphenylene sulfide resin composition comprising: from 15 to 30% by weight of glass fiber with respect to the weight sum of polyphenylene sulfide resin and glass fiber taken as 100% by weight; and from 20 to 30% by volume of copper alloy fiber with respect to the volume sum of polyphenylene sulfide resin, glass fiber and copper alloy fiber taken as 100% by volume. The electric conductive polyphenylene resin composition is an optium material for enclosures for automobile electronics apparatuses which are disposed outside the passenger room.

摘要: An alcohol concentration sensor provided a tube shaped means (21) of which the top end (211) is closed with a top end closing means (20) and of which the bottom end (212) is remained open, a gas supply tube means (22) which penetrates the top end closing means (20) to extend down into the tube shaped means (21), which is provided an air blower means (24), and of which the lower end (221) terminates slightly upper than the bottom end (212) of the tube shaped means (21), thereby the lower end (221) of the gas supply tube means (22) is soaked into a liquid (10) containing water and alcohol, of which the alcohol concentration is required to be determined, deeply sufficient to allow the air bubbles flown out of the gas supply tube means (22) into the liquid (10) to absorb sufficient quantity of alcohol contained in the liquid (10), whenever the tube shaped means (21) is soaked in the liquid (10 ), a gas drawing out means (26) which penetrates the top end closing means (20), a gas temperature sensing means (27) which is connected with the gas drawing out means (26) for determining the temperature of the gas in the neighborhood of a gas oxidation means for oxidizing the alcohol evaporated from the liquid (10), a temperature/alcohol concentration calibration means for calibrating the temperature of the gas toward the corresponding alcohol concentration, and an alcohol concentration output means for outputting the alcohol concentration determined by the temperature/alcohol concentration calibration means.

摘要: A self-luminescent light source for a liquid crystal display watch characterized by comprising a fluorescent substance layer which has a light reflectivity and which contains radioactive element promethium (.sup.147 Pm) in at least a part thereof, a reflective layer which is disposed on one surface of the fluorescent substance layer and which serves to reflect and scatter fluorescence from the fluorescent substance layer, a case which is disposed on the side of the reflective layer remote from the fluorescent substance layer and which serves to perform shielding from Bremsstrahlung ascribable to beta rays given out from the promethium, a first cover which is disposed on the side of the fluorescent substance layer remote from the reflective layer and which serves to absorb the beta rays given out from the promethium and to transmit the light from the fluorescent substance layer, and a second cover which is disposed on the side of the first cover remote from the fluorescent substance layer and which serves to perform shielding from Bremsstrahlung ascribable to the beta rays given out from the promethium and to transmit the light from the fluorescent substance layer.
