    Abstract: Disclosed is a method for efficient signaling of sidelink radio resources. A first terminal device selects a subset of radio resources from a set of candidate radio resources. The first terminal device determines a set of resource indices for the subset of radio resources based at least partly on a pre-defined enumeration order of the set of candidate radio resources in time and frequency. The first terminal device determines a first resource indication value indicating at least the set of resource indices. The first terminal device transmits the first resource indication value to one or more second terminal devices.

    Abstract: Solutions using a counter space and STOP bits to transmit data are disclosed. The counter space is a portion of a resource grid having a predetermined size in the time domain and in the frequency domain, wherein counter values are associated with respective resource elements of the counter space according to a predetermined rule. By means of the counter space and counter values, it is possible to transmit M binary string values of M binary strings of a predetermined length N by encoding STOP bits over respective resource elements of the counter space, and transmitting the encoded STOP bits. At a receiving side, the encoded STOP bits are decoded to M binary string values to obtain M binary strings of the predetermined length N.

    Abstract: Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to transmission of control information associated with sidelink positioning reference signal. In an example method, a first terminal device in a radio access network comprises at least one processor; and at least one memory including computer program code; the at least one memory and the computer program code configured to, with the at least one processor, cause the first terminal device to: transmit, to a second terminal device in the radio access network, control information associated with a sidelink (SL) positioning reference signal (PRS) during a SL positioning session for positioning of the second terminal device, using a resource for the control information in a Physical Sidelink Feedback Channel (PSFCH) symbol or in at least one symbol dedicated for the control information. In this way, the first terminal device can efficiently transmit control information to the second terminal device with backward compatibility.

    Abstract: A first user equipment able to communicate with other user equipments via sidelink communications determines a procedure to use for selecting a host of a coordination of sidelink discontinuous reception when receiving a connection request from a second user equipment, and based on whether a requirement for a flow corresponding to the connection request meets a threshold. The first user equipment then performs sidelink discontinuous reception coordination between the first and second user equipment based on the determined host. The first user equipment sends configuration a second user equipment to use for discontinuous reception for the sidelink communications, or it requests help from a second user equipment to perform alignment of discontinuous reception for the sidelink communications.
