Abstract: A technique includes measuring a received power for each resource of one or more resource pairs, wherein each of the one or more resource pairs includes a resource of a first resource type and a set of resources of a second resource type, wherein the resource of the first resource type is spatially quasi-colocated with the set of resources of the second resource type; selecting, based on a strongest received power, one of the one or more resource pairs for providing a joint quasi-colocation multiple-resource beam report; creating, by the user device, a joint quasi-colocation multiple-resource beam report, wherein the joint quasi-colocation multiple-resource beam report indicates a resource and a corresponding measured received power for each resource of the selected resource pair, including for a resource of the first resource type and each resource of the set of resources of the second resource type of the selected resource pair.

Abstract: Various communication systems may benefit from improved transmissions. For example, a network transmission may benefit from improved throughput and efficiency in non-schedule multiple access communications. A method includes selecting at a user equipment operating in a non-scheduled access scheme at least one of a first codeword or a second codeword based on an amount of data. The data in the non-scheduled access scheme can be spread according to a spreading sequence. The method also includes determining a transport block size for at least one of the first codeword or the second codeword. In addition, the method includes transmitting the data from the user equipment to a network node using at least one of the first codeword or the second codeword.

One method may include combining, by a network node, of linear and non-linear precoding, for example based on specific channel state information acquisition from at least one user equipment, and generating two types of demodulation reference signals for the concatenated linear and non-linear precoding. The method may include multiplexing, by the network node, the two types of demodulation reference signals with data. A first of the two types of demodulation reference signals may be linearly precoded with one linear precoding matrix from a first-stage linear precoder, and another one of the two types may be linearly precoded with both the first-stage linear precoder and a feedforward filter in a second-stage non-linear precoder from the concatenation of linear and nonlinear precoders.
