Abstract: Example embodiments of the present disclosure are related to state transition of a cell. An apparatus receives a monitoring occasion configuration for control information related to a discontinuous operation pattern of a cell, the monitoring occasion configuration indicating at least one monitoring occasion that is before activation of the discontinuous operation pattern or during a time when the discontinuous operation pattern is activated. The apparatus monitors the control information from the device at the at least one monitoring occasion, the control information at least indicating a state transition of the cell between an active state and a non-active state; and based on receiving the control information from the device, and determines, from the control information, the state transition of the cell between the active state and the non-active state.

Abstract: Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to devices, methods, apparatuses and computer readable storage media for enhancement of HARQ feedback. The method comprises: upon receipt of data of at least one of a group of services from a second device, generating, at a first device, a Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) codebook comprising HARQ feedback and identification information for the at least one service, the group of services comprising at least one of multicast and broadcast services (MBSs) and unicast services; and transmitting the HARQ-ACK codebook to the second device. In this way, retransmissions of unicast and multicast services can be accurately scheduled in time, and unnecessary retransmissions can be avoided. In addition, the spectral efficiency and packet loss rate of the communication system can be improved.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to frequency domain resource allocation for multicast traffic. A method comprises: receiving, at a first device and from a core network element, multicast traffic to be scheduled for a second device; generating assistance information for the second device, the assistance information enabling the second device to identify, within a bandwidth part configured for the second device, a frequency domain resource allocated for the multicast traffic; and transmitting the assistance GC information to the second device. The method further comprises: receiving, at the second device, the assistance information from a first device; and determining the frequency domain resource from downlink control information based on the assistance information. In this way, a significant flexibility to schedule multicast traffic can be provided, and a significant complexity reduction to a terminal device can be provided.

Abstract: Disclosed are devices, methods, apparatuses, and computer readable media for synchronization signal block measurement. An example apparatus for a terminal device may include at least one processor and at least one memory. The at least one memory may store instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, may cause the terminal device at least to: receive, from a network device serving the terminal device, a configuration for discontinuous transmission defining an active period and a non-active period of a cell associated with the network device; determine whether to perform a synchronization signal block measurement during the non-active period based on a first condition and a second condition different from the first condition; based on said determining, if the first condition is satisfied, perform the synchronization signal block measurement during the non-active period; and based on said determining, if the second condition is satisfied, refrain from performing the synchronization signal block measurement during the non-active period.

Abstract: Apparatuses and methods are provided to enable a receiver device monitoring a control channel configured for carrying information indicating transmission types of point-to-multipoint services detect a point-to-multipoint service of interest. The device can further detect an indication of a transmission type associated with the point-to-multipoint service of interest. In response a request can be sent for a configuration enabling reception of the indicated transmission type of the point-to-multipoint service of interest on a point-to-multipoint traffic channel. In the absence of said further detecting, the device can refrain from sending the request for the configuration for reception of the transmission type of the point-to-multipoint service.

Abstract: Disclosed are methods for power control on negative acknowledgement transmission. An example method may include receiving at a terminal device from a network device, at least one parameter relating to a transmit power for transmission of a negative acknowledgement from the terminal device to the network device on a hybrid automatic repeat request process, wherein the negative acknowledgement may indicate a request for a retransmission of a packet sent from the network device to the terminal device on the hybrid automatic repeat request process, determining at least one missed negative acknowledgement, wherein the at least one missed negative acknowledgement may include at least one sent negative acknowledgement for which no corresponding retransmission from the network device has been received at the terminal device on the hybrid automatic repeat request process, calculating a negative acknowledgement miss rate based at least on the determination of the at least one missed negative acknowledgement, and adjusting the transmit power for the transmission of the negative acknowledgement based at least on the calculated negative acknowledgement miss rate and the at least one parameter. Related apparatuses and computer readable media are also disclosed.
