摘要: The present invention is a multipart system and method for using cloth filters in automated vertical molding. The system includes a filter setter, a filter print plate and a filter back shelf. The filter setter removably mounts to a mechanical arm and releasably carries at least one cloth filter between upper and lower jaws. The filter print plate mounts to a ram plate while the filter back shelf mounts to a swing plate. During vertical molding, the ram plate and swing plate compress sand to create a mold. The mounted filter print plate creates at least part of a print aperture into which the filter setter inserts the cloth filter. The apertures created by the filter print plate and the filter back shelf support the cloth filter during the founding process.

摘要: One embodiment provides a system that facilitates shared virtual reality space. During operation, the system receives a first message associated with a first virtual reality object, wherein the first message includes a first address for the first virtual reality object and indicates a first action to be performed on the first virtual reality object. The system performs the first action on the first virtual reality object. The system determines a second address for a second virtual reality object that is remotely maintained and corresponds to the first virtual reality object. The system constructs a second message, which includes the second address and indicates the first action, thereby allowing the first action to be performed on the second virtual reality object.

摘要: A system and method for establishing connection of an IP telephone to a network may include, in response to receiving a registration request from an IP telephone, generating a command to cause network access devices to ping the IP telephone. The command may be communicated to the network access devices. Ping information may be received in response to the network access devices pinging the IP telephone. A network access device may be selected that has the highest quality network access path to the IP telephone. In response to selecting the network access device that has the highest quality network access path, a network address of the selected network access device may be communicated to a network device to enable the IP telephone to communicate with the selected network access device. Credentials may be communicated to the IP telephone to register with the selected network access device.

摘要: A method of determining a network parameter in a telecommunication system is disclosed. The system has a coverage area including at least two sub-areas, and also includes a User Equipment (UE) being in idle mode and being registered in at least two of these sub-areas. According to the present disclosure, a network node in the system receives from the UE a time information relating to the time periods the UE has been present in each of the at least two sub-areas it is registered in, respectively, and then this time information is utilized to determine a network parameter in the system.

摘要: A multi-function writing instrument includes a front section having a writing point opening and a rear section having an eraser opening. The rear section and the front section are rotatably connected to each other. A plurality of marking tips are disposed in the front section. One of the marking tips is a pencil lead marking tip. The marking tips are alternately selectable for extension through the writing point opening. An eraser holder is movably disposed in the rear section. An eraser is mounted in the eraser holder. The eraser holder is selectable for extension through the eraser opening. A means for simultaneously propelling the pencil lead marking tip through the writing point opening and the eraser through the eraser opening upon rotation of the front section relative to the rear section is housed in the multi-function writing instrument.

摘要: In a method for optimizing exchanges of acknowledgement signals between a mobile equipment in asynchronous communication with a plurality of base stations of a cellular telecommunication network, the terminal sends data to the base stations and each base station is likely to return to the terminal a positive acknowledgement ACK or negative acknowledgement NACK. The method includes the steps of: synchronizing the mobile equipment with the network; and estimating quality of downlink communication between each base station and the mobile equipment on at least one standardized channel, such that if at least one base station returns an acknowledgement to the mobile equipment, the mobile equipment only requests a NACK from the base stations while the data is continuously being transmitted, and if all the base stations return a NACK to the mobile equipment, the mobile equipment only requests an ACK from the base stations during the current communication.
