摘要: An image forming apparatus includes a setting unit configured to set a partition region for dividing a rolled print medium into a plurality of rolls, the partition region being set within a group of images that are sequentially printed accompanying feeding from a feeding apparatus in which the rolled print medium is set; and a printing unit configured to print, on the print medium fed from the feeding apparatus, the group of images reflecting the partition region set by the setting unit. The printing unit prints, on the partition region, an identification image indicating a cutting position for dividing into the plurality of rolls, and the setting unit sets a position at which the identification image is printed, based on information of the group of images.

摘要: Various embodiments disclose a method for operating a printer apparatus that includes a print head. The method includes causing a media hub to retract a media in a retract direction along a media path. Further, the method includes causing a first media sensor to generate a first signal during retraction of the media. Furthermore, the method includes monitoring the first signal to detect at least one of a leading edge or a trailing edge of a label of the plurality of labels. Upon detecting the at least one of the leading edge or the trailing edge of the label, causing the media hub to retract the media by at least a predetermined distance, wherein the predetermined distance is a distance between the print head and the first media sensor.

摘要: A quality control management system, and methods therefor, comprising a tracking and labeling system for construction defects. A labeling system may include uniquely machine-coded and computer-readable labels which may be placed near the location of a defect. The labeling system may also use alphanumeric codes and color-coded schemes to uniquely identify the nature and characteristics of a defect. A defect tracking system may be in the form of mobile application software which can be integrated with the labeling system. The mobile application software may be accessible on a mobile device, such as a smartphone, allowing a user to take a scan, or take a picture of, a label with their mobile device camera and automatically, or manually, associate various types of information with a corresponding defect. The mobile application software may allow users to create, view, and edit defect lists, as well as monitor and manage the workflow of defect repairs.

摘要: A printing apparatus includes a thermal head and a processor. The thermal head includes heat-generating elements and prints on a plurality of lines in a medium. The processor sets a second period within one of the setting periods. The second period is a time period for adjusting a temperature change of the heat-generating elements without printing on the medium, after a first period for printing. The processor determines a nth line (n: an integer of 2 or greater) among the lines based on printing data. The nth line is estimated to have a possibility of sticking in printing. The processor adjusts a temperature change of at least a part of the heat-generating elements in the second periods corresponding to at least the nth line and a (n−1)th line. The (n−1)th line is printed immediately before the nth line based on the printing data, to suppress the sticking.

摘要: A method and apparatus for printer compensation is disclosed. A label stop sensor (LSS) detects a time T(1) associated with an initial label position near the beginning of a print job. The label stop sensor detects a time T(L) associated with a label position that is L labels later in the print job. From at least the times T(1) and T(L) and a printer media feed rate a processor calculates a difference between the initial label position and the later label position. A start adjustment factor is compensated by the difference between the initial label position and the later label position to account for changes in print position between the first label and the later label.
