Abstract:
A transcranial electrical stimulation device 1 having a wearing equipment 2 detachably worn onto a patient's head and at least a pair of electrodes 4 attached to the wearing equipment 2, the device for electrically stimulating a motor area of a patient's cerebral cortex by outputting current from the electrode 4 connected to a current generator. An engagement part 6 capable of engaging the wearing equipment 2 to a scalp with a thread-like body 8 is provided to the wearing equipment 2, and the electrode 4 is attached to the wearing equipment 2 protrudably to the head side of the electrode 4, and tip of the electrode 4 is capable of subcutaneously piercing through the head. It is unnecessary to bore a patient's skull outer layer with a drill, and a mounting of the electrode can be performed in a short time. The electrodes can be accurately positioned at predetermined positions of a patient's head, and the motor area of a cerebral cortex can be effectively stimulated.
Abstract:
A laser processing process which comprises laser annealing a silicon film 2 μm or less in thickness by irradiating a laser beam 400 nm or less in wavelength and being operated in pulsed mode with a pulse width of 50 nsec or more, and preferably, 100 nsec or more. A laser processing apparatus which comprises a laser generation device and a stage for mounting thereon a sample provided separately from said device, to thereby prevent transfer of vibration attributed to the movement of the stage to the laser generation device and the optical system. A stable laser beam can be obtained to thereby improve productivity.
Abstract:
There are provided a sensor unit of thermal analysis equipment capable of keeping heat conduction between a furnace body and samples to detect a temperature difference between the samples with high sensitivity, while suppressing the heat conduction between a measurement sample and a reference sample, and a method of manufacturing the same. According to the present invention, a sensor unit 30 of a thermal analysis equipment 1 that detects a temperature difference between a measurement sample S and a reference sample R in each sample container, includes: a base part 31 formed of an insulator and provided in the vicinity of a temperature-controlled furnace unit; a multiple thermocouple 32 formed by joining two kinds of thermocouple elements alternately, a particular part of the thermocouple element being joined to the base part; and a pair of heat sensitive parts 35, 36 formed of an insulator, having a mounting surface on which each sample container is mounted, and joining to element junctions of the multiple thermocouple, wherein the pair of heat sensitive parts 35, 36 are provided spaced apart from the base part 31.

A sorting apparatus 10 which uses a sorting/conveying line 11 with branch destination, including a branch line 22 for sorting the commodities more than a quantity necessary for the branch destination and a surplus article returning line 23 for returning surplus commodities after removing a required quantity to the sorting/conveying line 11.
Abstract:
A method for shifting goods in which goods arranged in a predetermined manner within a container having an opening portion are taken out of the container in such a manner as to correspond to the arrangement of the storing state of the goods. The method comprising the steps of superposing a goods take-out tool including partitions which are formed in such a manner as to correspond to the arrangement of the storing state of the goods on the opening portion of the container, and inverting the superposed container and goods take-out tool. The goods in the container can be taken into the goods take-out tool without changing the arrangement of the storing state of the goods.
Abstract:
A clock includes two dial pieces laterally openably pivoted to a stationary shaft. The dial pieces in a closed position define a single time display face. When a driving motor is started at any set time, two gears with eccentric cams are rotated in opposite directions; as a result, the dial pieces with cam followers held in contact with the eccentric cams are shifted in laterally opposite directions to take an open position, so that a gimmick normally hidden by the dial pieces in the closed position is exhibited. A spring is attached to the stationary shaft to moderately urge the dial pieces in the direction of opening thereof, or a spring is provided to urge the dial pieces in the direction of opening thereof via two pins provided on the eccentric cams in accord with the center lines thereof, whereby the operation of the dial pieces is attained uniformly irrespective of whether they are opened or closed.
Abstract:
A timepiece movement has a case in which are mounted a driving motor, a gear train driven by the motor, a printed circuit board having a driving circuit for driving the motor, and a battery accommodating portion for replaceably receiving a battery. A pair of battery contacts for electrically connecting the battery to the printed circuit board are provided on the outer surface of the case. One end of each of the battery contacts extends through an opening in the case to make elastic contact with the battery, and the other end of each of the battery contacts extends through another opening in the case to make elastic contact with the printed circuit board.
Abstract:
An alarm on-off mechanism for an alarm watch is provided wherein two alarm push-pieces are symmetrically provided on opposite sides of the watch case. An alarm lever is interlocked with the alarm push-pieces in such a manner that the alarm is turned on by pressing one of the alarm push-pieces and the alarm is turned off by pressing the other alarm push-piece.
