摘要: A portable electronic device can include a housing at least partially defining an internal volume, a set of temperature sensors disposed in the internal volume, a display assembly, and a processor or main logic board. The set of temperature sensors can be positioned adjacent to or affixed to components of the portable electronic device. The processor can determine a temperature of an environment based on an adjustment factor and weighted temperature measurements taken by a subset of the set of temperature sensors.

The method and system can preheat the electronic device until it is at a safe temperature in which to safely power-on the electronic device. 摘要: A temperature sensor for a motor vehicle is disclosed. The temperature sensor includes a temperature-sensitive element, two electrical wires connecting the temperature-sensitive element to an electrical connector, an insulating sheath surrounding the two electrical wires, a protective endpiece including a closed end in which the temperature-sensitive element is housed, and a fixing means through which the insulating sheath passes. The fixing means has a threaded element to be screwed into a threaded orifice provided in a vehicle engine interface element to fix the temperature sensor to the engine interface element and a stop fixed to the insulating sheath. The stop surrounds the insulating sheath and provides sealing between the inside of the engine interface element and the outside, the threaded element being capable of rotating with respect to the stop. The stop comprises at least one lug that goes into a slot provided in the engine interface element to prevent the temperature sensor from rotating with respect to the engine interface element.

摘要: An apparatus and method for real-time in-situ simultaneous measurement of temperature and mechanical parameters can include a charge type vibration sensing module having a temperature compensation function and a temperature/vibration coplanarly-integrated wireless surface acoustic wave (SAW) sensing module are controlled by a processing module in which a full-range temperature-vibration composite parameter compensation decoupling method is implanted, which can detect a vibration signal in a variable temperature environment. Moreover, temperature and vibration multi-parameter testing of static components in a high-temperature, narrow and closed environment can be implemented by arranging the charge type vibration sensing module having a temperature compensation function, and the temperature/vibration coplanarly-integrated wireless SAW sensing module implements health monitoring of moving components in a high-temperature and high-rotation environment.

摘要: A structure and a method for mounting thermocouple on an intermetallic compounds such as TiAl by suppressing occurrence of cracks are provided. A thermocouple mounting structure is provided with a substrate, a coating formed on the substrate and a foil joined on the coating, and sandwiches a thermocouple between the substrate and the foil. A thermocouple mounting method includes forming a coating on a substrate and welding a foil on the coating, and the welding includes arranging a thermocouple so that the substrate and the foil sandwiches the thermocouple. Occurrence of cracks in the substrate formed with intermetallic compounds can be suppressed by providing a thermal spray coating between the substrate and the foil.

摘要: A sensorless temperature sensing and control system and method uses electrical voltage and current feedback signals to monitor and control the temperature of heating elements used in a heat sealing process wherein sensors are not physically connected to a heat seal bar during the heat sealing process. After calibration of a heat seal bar using a sensor, voltage and current feedback signals are processed by a programmable logic controller (PLC) to calculate the real-time electrical resistance of each heating element. Data and electrical resistance is used to calculate real-time temperature of the heat seal bar during heating.

摘要: A temperature monitoring unit includes a thermocouple, a communication device, having an antenna, controlled by a controller, and a power supply, surrounded by an enclosure, buried underground at a first distance away from a structure. The enclosure is buried underground with the ground having the ability to further insulate the insulating material. A reference electrode assembly, buried underground at a second distance away from the structure, is configured to obtain corrosion measurements. An antenna assembly has a transmitter for communicating with a remote monitoring system, located above ground away from the structure. An intelligent weather measurement unit mounted on the structure and being coupled to the communication device to collect weather information and to send weather information to the communication device for transmittal to the remote monitoring system.

摘要: A system includes a memory device and a processing device, operatively coupled to the memory device. In some embodiments, the processing device accesses a matrix of threshold voltage offset bins, where a first dimension of the matrix is temperature and a second dimension of the matrix is a temporal voltage shift (TVS) amount. The processing device measures a temperature value based on a reference temperature value for a block family. The processing device measures a TVS value of a voltage level within one or more memory cell of the block family. The processing device retrieves, from the matrix, a threshold voltage offset bin based on the reference temperature value and the TVS value and reads data from any page of the block family via application of a threshold voltage offset, specified by the threshold voltage offset bin, to a base read level voltage.
