Such alarm is furthermore characterized in that the motor means (24) are constituted by an electromagnetic motor (24a, 24b) fixedly mounted on a support (28) including elastic coupling elements (30) which are associated with said mass (26) which is designed to assume a quasi-linear oscillating motion relative to the electromagnetic motor (24a, 24b) when the motor is operated. The invention is particularly adapted for integration within a timepiece.

摘要： A casing includes an elongated opening, an alarm device having a buzzer, a battery unit and a circuit unit to connect the battery unit to the buzzer, a time setting wheel and a conductive plate which has a first end connected to a first terminal of the battery unit, a second end abutting with the time setting wheel, a third end connected to a first contact point of the circuit board, and a fourth end above a second contact point of the circuit unit. The alarm device is actuated by a switch button assembly that includes a lever, which is made of a resilient, insulative material, pivotally mounted in the elongated opening and having a first end and a second end transversely passing the elongated opening to extend out of the casing. The first end of the lever includes an insertion piece, which can be inserted between the third end of the conductive plate and the first contact point of the circuit board to disconnect the same so as to stop the generation of alarm signal when the lever is moved in the elongated opening, and a pressing portion, which presses the conductive plate to actuate a snooze circuit when the lever is pivoted in the elongated opening. The inner peripheral edge of the elongated opening serves as fulcrum for the lever.

The whole timepiece is vibrated by the unbalanced centrifugal forces produced by the turn of the weight wheel at the set time to indicate the time.

摘要： A timepiece includes in addition to the conventional timekeeping circuits, high load, that is, high current circuits such as an alarm driving circuit and a lamp driving circuit. Low load, small current systems such as the oscillator, divider, display drivers and display for timekeeping are operated directly from the battery voltage source when the high load circuits are off. When the high load circuits are on, the low load circuits are disconnected from the battery and operate from an electric charge stored in a capacitor connected in parallel with the low load circuits. The high load circuits are driven intermittently at a high frequency to reduce power consumption and to permit recharging of the storage capacitor during off-periods. The drive frequency is sufficiently high such that an illumination lamp shows no flicker and brightness is controlled by duty cycle.

摘要： An alarm signaling circuit for a timepiece including a volume control circuit having a variable volume controller which can be externally adjusted and a fixed volume setting means which determines a constant volume, a change over switch which selectively changes the controller and the setting means, and a change over control circuit which has a time section for measuring an alarm signalling time and which supplies a change over control signal to the change over switch after a predetermined passage of time from the start of alarm signaling. The alarm signaling circuit performs the alarm signaling action at a certain volume established by the variable volume controller during a first alarm signaling period from a start of alarm signaling till the predetermined passage of time and further performs the alarm signaling action at a fixed alarm volume determined by the fixed volume setting means in a consecutive second alarm signaling period.

An detecting cam plate is provided so as to be axially shiftable and continuously pushed and turned by the second hour gear wheel. A projection is formed on either the second alarm gear wheel or the detecting cam plate while a hole is formed on the other. When the respective phases of the projection and the hole coincide, the detecting cam plate is allowed to shift to actuate the alarm device.
