An apparatus comprising at least one processing circuitry, and at least one memory for storing instructions to be executed by the processing circuitry, wherein the at least one memory and the instructions are configured to, with the at least one processing circuitry, cause the apparatus at least: to determine whether a bearer to be set up and used for a communication connection of a communication element is a bearer eligible for selected traffic offloading to a local gateway of a cell group when the local gateway is available, and in case the determination is affirmative, to provide an indication in a signaling to a communication network control element of the communication element, the indication indicates that the bearer to be set up is a bearer eligible for selected traffic off-loading as soon as a local gateway is available.

A method and apparatus can be configured to detect that a signaling strength of a first network entity has dropped below a threshold. The method can also include transmitting a measurement report to the first network entity. The method can also include receiving radio-resource-control reconfiguration information from the first network entity. The method can also include transmitting a scheduling request to a second network entity, wherein a random-access-channel procedure is avoided.

Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to devices, methods, apparatuses and computer readable storage media of caching the configuration profiles associated with a capability ID. The method comprising receiving, at the first device and from a second device, a capability indication of the second device, the capability indication associated with at least one capability of the second device for performing radio access to the first device; determining a set of radio configuration profiles for the second device at least based on the capability indication, the set of radio configuration profiles indicating a plurality of available configuration parameters of the radio access; and transmitting the set of radio configuration profiles to the second device, to cause the second device to establish a connection with the first device. In this way, the additional network processing for generating a new radio configuration may be potentially saved and therefore the network efficiency for transmitting the radio configurations to the terminal device can be improved.
Abstract:
There is provided updating neighboring cell information for a secondary radio access node controlled by a master radio access node. Neighboring cells are measured by user equipment served by the master radio access node and the secondary access node controlled by the master radio access node. Neighboring cell information is obtained. Neighboring cell information maintained in at least the secondary radio access node is updated on the basis of the obtained neighboring cell information.
