    Abstract: An attachment for a hair dryer has a cylindrical body having an inlet end, an opposed closed end, a body axis extending centrally through the cylindrical body between the inlet end and the opposed close end and an axially extending cylindrical sidewall. An air flow path extends from an inlet port provided at the inlet end to a plurality of air outlets provided at the axially extending cylindrical sidewall. The air outlets are angularly spaced around the attachment. A diverting member is rotatably mounted with respect to the cylindrical body about a diverting member axis that is coaxial with the body axis. In operation, rotation of the diverting member alters a direction of air exiting the air outlets.

    Abstract: A hand vacuum cleaner has a front end, a rear end, a vacuum axis extending between the front and rear ends, and an air flow path extending from a dirty air inlet at the front end of the hand vacuum cleaner to a clean air outlet rearward of the dirty air inlet. A suction motor is provided in the air flow path. An air treatment member having an air inlet and an air outlet is provided in the air flow path at the front end of the hand vacuum cleaner.     Abstract: A surface cleaning apparatus has an air treatment member comprising a collection chamber, a lid, an air inlet and an air outlet. The lid is moveable from a closed position in which the collection chamber is closed and an open position in which the collection chamber is open. A bag is positionable in the collection chamber when the lid is open. The lid comprises the air treatment member air inlet whereby, when the bag is positioned in the collection chamber and the lid is closed, the collection chamber is downstream from the dirty air inlet and at least a portion of the air treatment member air inlet is positioned above an upper end of the bag.
