Abstract: Various implementations of visual inspector attachments for fiber connector cleaners are disclosed. The example fiber optic inspection module includes a camera to capture an image of an end-face, a light source to illuminate the end-face, and a first mirror that reflects light from the light source to the end-face and includes a fixed point that allows the first mirror to pivot. Alternatively, an example fiber optic inspection module includes a camera to capture an image of an end-face, a light source to illuminate the end-face, and a first mirror that reflects light from the light source to the end-face and the first mirror moves in an upward direction.

Abstract: An interlocking cable cleat secures cables to a ladder rack. The interlocking cable cleat is formed from a first cable cleat half and a second cable cleat half. Each cable cleat half includes an outer surface, an inner surface, and at least one mounting hole extending from the outer surface to the inner surface. Semi-circular keys extend from the inner surface of each cable cleat half around the mounting holes in the cable cleat halves defining slots in the remainder of each mounting hole. Each slot receives one of the semi-circular keys from an opposing inverted cable cleat half to interlock the first cable cleat half to the second cable cleat half.

Abstract: A tool for testing the termination of optical connectors has a housing, a cradle attached to the housing, and a cover removeably attached to the cradle. The cradle is configured to restrain a fiber optic connector and the cover is configured to at least partially block ambient light from reaching the fiber optic connector. In another embodiment, a tool for testing the termination of optical connectors has a housing, a cradle attached to the housing, a launch fiber, and a ferrule adapter. The ferrule adapter is connected such that it rotates about a pivot point on the cradle.

The plug interface contacts are at least partially within said housing and include a plurality of contact pairs having at least a first contact pair and a second contact pair. The coupling circuitry is configured for engaging said first contact pair and said second contact pair when said first plug is inserted into said housing. The coupling circuitry is configured for disengaging from said first contact pair and said second contact pair when said second plug is inserted into said housing.

Abstract: Various implementations of fiber optic inspection tools with integrated cleaning mechanisms are disclosed. The fiber optic inspection and cleaning tool includes a housing, a cleaning system and an imaging system.
