Abstract: There is provided a component mounter including: a storage which stores information related to a tape feeder and information related to a carrier tape pitch-fed by the tape feeder; a detector which detects a state where the carrier tape becomes close to a component shortage; a determiner which determines whether to perform predetermined processing with respect to a termination portion of the carrier tape based on information related to the tape feeder and information related to the carrier tape which are stored in the storage, in a case where a state where the carrier tape is close to a component shortage is detected by the detector; and a notifier which notifies an operator of contents of the predetermined processing, in a case where the determiner determines that the predetermined processing is supposed to be performed with respect to the termination portion of the carrier tape.

Abstract: A second tape conveying mechanism 20B includes a sprocket 21B allowed to rotate freely only in a first rotating direction corresponding to a tape conveying direction, and a first urging member 30 which urges and causes a carrier tape 14 to engage the sprocket 21B. When a preceding tape 14(1) engages the sprocket 21B and a subsequent tape 14(2) is inserted, the second tape conveying mechanism 20B abuts against a leading end of the subsequent tape 14(2) to prohibit entry of the subsequent tape 14(2). After the preceding tape 14(2) passes a tape stopper 35a, a position of the second tape conveying mechanism 20B is changed from a tape entry prohibition position to a tape entry permission position.

Abstract: A component verification method includes a component ID reading process of reading a component ID corresponding to a stored component of a subsequent tape, a tape insertion detecting process of detecting that the subsequent tape has been inserted into a tape feeder, a feeder specifying process of specifying a tape feeder in which the insertion of the subsequent tape has been detected, a component verifying process of verifying whether or not a correspondence relationship between the read component ID and the specified tape feeder is correct, and a re-verification requesting process of requesting re-execution of the verification to a worker if it is detected that the subsequent tape has fallen from the tape feeder after the component verifying process.

Abstract: A component supply system of the present disclosure includes a component supply unit automatically transfers a first carrier tape which stores components and is covered with a cover tape, exposes the components from the first carrier tape using a component exposing unit, and supplies the components which are exposed from the first carrier tape, a joining determination unit which determines whether or not a joining which joins a second carrier tape positioned behind the first carrier tape to the first carrier tape is present, and a controller which controls transferring of the first carrier tape by the component supply unit. The controller restricts the transferring of the first carrier tape in a case in which the joining determination unit determines that the joining is present.

Abstract: A tape feeder includes a gate, a gate drive mechanism, and a tape feed mechanism. The gate is provided in an insertion port through which a carrier tape storing components is inserted. In the gate drive mechanism, a tape feed mechanism which drives the gate in opening and closing directions feeds the components stored in the inserted carrier tape to a pickup position. The gate drive mechanism includes a spring member which biases the gate in the closing direction, and a solenoid which drives the gate in the opening direction against a biasing force of the spring member.

Abstract: A component supplying apparatus includes a main tape entering port, a component supply port through which components are picked up from a carrier tape, a main tape path extending in a body part from the main tape entering port to the underside of the component supply port, a top tape removing part removing the top tape from the carrier tape on the main tape path upstream of the component supply port, a sub tape entering port, a sub tape path meeting a slope path portion of the main tape path at a meeting point upstream of the top tape removing part, and at least one sprocket wheels engaging with the carrier tape on the main tape path downstream of the meeting point. A length of the sub tape path is shorter than a length of the main tape path from the main tape entering port to the meeting point.
