Abstract: A conversion parameter calculation method includes: obtaining, from a first image capturing device, first image data obtained by the first image capturing device capturing an image of an object; obtaining, from a second image capturing device, second distance data indicating a distance to the object, and second image data obtained by the second image capturing device capturing an image of the object; obtaining displacement direction information indicating a direction of a displacement of the object in three dimensions; associating positions on the object in the first image data and the second image data; estimating a position of the first image capturing device; calculating first distance data indicating a distance from the first image capturing device to the object; and calculating a conversion parameter for converting a pixel displacement amount of the object into the actual displacement amount, using the first distance data and the displacement direction information.

Abstract: An image processing method for processing a plurality of images is provided. The image processing method includes: acquiring a plurality of first images, each of the plurality of first images taken with each of a plurality of imaging devices; acquiring first imaging clock times, each of the first imaging clock times corresponding to each of the plurality of first images; selecting a plurality of second images from the plurality of first images; and generating an image set constructed with the plurality of second images. Each of second imaging clock times correspond to each of the plurality of second images. The second imaging clock times are (i) substantially matched with each other and (ii) included in the first imaging clock times.

Abstract: Provided is an image coding method which obtains a picture, and codes the obtained picture. The image coding method generates a processing block, performs a first intra prediction that selects one intra prediction mode from a first set of candidates based on a component of a first signal contained in the processing block, performs a second intra prediction that selects one intra prediction mode from a second set of candidates based on a component of a second signal contained in the processing block. The first set of candidates includes a plurality of intra prediction modes, and the second set of candidates includes an intra prediction mode, having no dependency between the second intra prediction and the first intra prediction, of the plurality of intra prediction modes. The first intra prediction and the second intra prediction are performed in parallel.

Abstract: A method controls access permission to an image including receiving session information from a first camera at a first position, the session information indicating a subject to be photographed and a session in which the first camera joins, receiving an image of the subject from the first camera, updating the session information such that a second camera, at a second position, joins the session, and monitoring whether the second camera joins the session. A first period is calculated in which the second camera joins the session, a second period is calculated based on the first period, and access permission to a shared image is controlled such that the second camera downloads the shared image during the second period and does not download the shared image outside of the second period, the shared image being one of the image and an image generated based on the image.
