    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some examples, a user equipment (UE) operating according to full duplex (e.g., transmit and receive concurrently) may adapt a transmit power of a sidelink feedback message based on priorities of data messages. For example, the UE may determine a priority of a first data message received at the UE in a previous slot and a priority of a second data message transmitted to the UE in a previous slot. Based on a comparison of the priorities of the data messages, the UE may adjust a transmit power for a feedback message indicating a decoding outcome of the first data message and transmit the feedback message according to the adjusted transmit power while receiving a feedback message indicating the decoding outcome of the second data message thereby increasing efficiency while reducing interference.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for establishing directional communications between two communication nodes via a configurable reflective surface. In some aspects, an assisting node (AN) may control a reflection characteristic (which may dictate or influence how signals reflect off of the configurable reflective surface) in accordance with parameters or configurations for directional communication between the two communication nodes. For example, the AN may use a first beam for directional communication with the first node and a second beam for directional communication with the second node, and the AN may control the reflection characteristic in accordance with an inferred incident direction of signaling at the configurable reflective surface and a desired reflected direction of the signaling from the configurable reflective surface that are associated with the first beam and the second beam, respectively.

    Abstract: Aspects relate to mechanisms for a base station to provide sidelink synchronization assistance to a plurality of user equipment (UEs). The base station may be configured to identify a detection time window that includes a sidelink synchronization resource configured for transmission of a sidelink synchronization signal on a sidelink carrier. The base station may further be configured to transmit an indication of the detection time window to the plurality UEs on a cellular carrier to enable the UEs to detect a sidelink synchronization signal on the sidelink carrier within the detection time window and synchronize communication on the sidelink carrier.

For example, a base station may receive, from a first user equipment (UE), an uplink message that includes one or more sidelink communication identifications each associated with a different UE of a set of one or more UEs and may associate each of the one or more sidelink communication identifications with a corresponding second identification also associated with each of the set of one or more UEs. The base station may transmit one or more signals for transitioning each of the set of one or more UEs associated with the set of second identifications from an inactive mode to an active mode based on associating each of the set of one or more sidelink communication identifications with the second identification of the set of second identifications. A second UE may receive, while in the inactive mode from the base station, the one or more signals that trigger the transition and may communicate with the first UE based on receiving the wake-up signal.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may be configured with a cross-component carrier or cross-beam quasi co-location (QCL) configuration in a sidelink carrier aggregation configuration. For example, a first beam on a first component carrier may be QCLed with a second beam on a second component carrier. The first beam may have a different beam width than the second beam or be in a different frequency range than the first beam, or both. If an application at the UE requests the UE to configure a beam on the second component carrier, the UE may use some parameters used to receive on the first component carrier to communicate using the second beam on the second component carrier.

A base station may transmit a request for a first user equipment (UE) to provide sensing capability information associated with UEs other than the first UE (e.g., an indication of one or more sensors associated with the corresponding UE, an orientation of the corresponding UE, a field of view associated with the corresponding UE). Additionally, the first UE may receive, from each of a set of second UEs, indications of the sensing capability information associated with the corresponding second UEs. Based on the sensing capability information indicated for each of the set of second UEs, the first UE select a subset of second UEs and transmit an indication of the sensing capability information associated with the subset of second UEs to the base station.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, on a sidelink, a groupcast communication and a unicast communication concurrently from a transmitter. The UE may determine a feedback sequence to be transmitted to indicate joint acknowledgment or negative acknowledgement feedback for the groupcast communication and the unicast communication based at least in part on a decoding of the groupcast communication. The UE may transmit the feedback sequence in one or more sidelink feedback resources associated with a sidelink subchannel via which at least one of the groupcast communication or the unicast communication is received.
