Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described to estimate interference for concurrent uplink and downlink communications based on an indication of one or more one or more characteristics of an interfering uplink signal communicated between a base station and a second user equipment (UE). The base station or the second UE may transmit, to a first UE, an indication of one or more characteristics of an uplink signal, such as a baseband of the uplink signal or one or more parameters of the uplink signal. The first UE may use the characteristic(s) of the uplink signal to estimate the baseband of the uplink signal and cancel interference associated with the uplink signal. For example, the first UE may use the baseband signal to estimate the interference and may subtract the estimated interference from a downlink signal received at the first UE.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A communication device, such as a user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling indicating a set of configurations including a set of random access channel (RACH) configurations or a set of scheduling request (SR) configurations. At least one RACH configuration of the set of RACH configurations includes a UE-group common RACH configuration or at least one SR configuration of the set of SR configurations includes a UE-group common SR configuration. The UE may select one or more configurations of the set of RACH configurations or the set of SR configurations based on receiving the control signaling and may perform the wireless communications.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling that indicates a configuration for subband full duplex (SBFD) slots and a random access channel (RACH) configuration for SBFD slots. The UE may transmit at least one instance of a RACH message in an uplink subband of an SBFD slot in accordance with the RACH configuration. The RACH configuration may enable a UE to repeat a RACH message or transmit a multi-slot RACH message across an SBFD slot and an uplink slot. The RACH configuration may map synchronization signal blocks (SSB)s to RACH occasions in the uplink subband of the SBFD slot. In some examples, the SSBs may be mapped across multiple (e.g., consecutive) SBFD slots. In some cases, the RACH configuration may enable a UE to repeat a RACH message or transmit a multi-slot RACH message across multiple SBFD slots.

Abstract: Full-duplex communication techniques are described. Some aspects may utilize full-duplex-slot formats, such as may be provided in addition to or in the alternative to uplink, downlink, and flexible slot formats. A full-duplex slot implemented in accordance with a full-duplex-slot format provides a slot in which the frequency band may be used for both uplink and downlink transmissions. Downlink and/or uplink transmissions of a full-duplex slot may occur in overlapping frequency bands or in adjacent frequency bands. A first wireless device may transmit slot signaling comprising one or more full-duplex-slot-indicator parameters. A second wireless device may base one or more full-duplex slot configuration determinations on a full-duplex-slot configuration. The second wireless device may apply one or more full-duplex-slot-indicator-parameter rules with respect to full-duplex-slot-indicator parameters for determining a full-duplex-slot format. A user equipment (UE) may receive. from a base station, signaling that indicates an indirect assignment of a slot for transmitting sounding reference signals (SRSs) in multiple SRS resource sets. The UE may determine whether the slot is available for the indirect assignment based on a first set of characteristics associated with the multiple SRS resource sets and a second set of characteristics associated with the slot. If the UE determines that the slot is available for the indirect assignment, the UE may transmit SRSs in the multiple SRS resource sets during the slot. If the UE determines that the slot is unavailable for the indirect assignment. the UE may refrain from transmitting SRSs in one or more of the multiple SRS resource sets during the slot.
