Abstract: A method of wireless communication by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving, from an application client, a request to delegate edge enabler layer services. The request includes a list of edge enabler layer services for an edge enabler client (EEC) to manage on behalf of the application client. The method also includes transmitting, to the application client, an indication of which edge enabler layer services are authorized for the application client. The method further includes transmitting a confirmation that the EEC will handle authorized edge enabler layer services on behalf of the application client. The method still further includes executing one or more procedures related to the authorized edge enabler layer services on behalf of the application client. The procedure(s) includes edge enabler layer procedures, application procedures, and/or high level operating system (HILOS) procedures.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatuses for network selection in a service interruption scenario. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive an indication that a condition is associated with a first network to which the UE is registered. The UE may perform a network selection procedure based at least in part on receiving the indication. In some aspects, the network selection procedure includes a legacy network selection procedure and is associated with roaming information received by or configured on the UE. In some aspects, a UE may receive an indication that a condition is associated with a network to which the UE is registered. The UE may provide, for display and based at least in part on receiving the indication, network selection information associated with a set of networks. The network selection information may include an indication that a given network accommodates inbound roamers.

DETERMINING, AT A RADIO ACCESS NETWORK NODE, A LOCATION-BASED STATE OF A USER EQUIPMENT

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a radio access network (RAN) node may transmit, to an access and mobility function (AMF) of a core network, a request associated with a location-based state of a user equipment (UE) served by the RAN node. For example, the location-based state of the UE may be associated with whether the UE is flying or whether the UE is driving. Accordingly, the RAN node may receive a message in response to the request. The RAN node may receive the message in response to the request from the AMF. Alternatively, the AMF may establish a connection between the RAN node and a location management function (LMF) of the core network such that the RAN node receives the message in response to the request from the LMF. Numerous other aspects are described.

PROVIDE DISCOVERY SECURITY MATERIALS FOR DISCOVERY

Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer program products for sidelink discovery are provided. An example method may include transmitting, to a first network entity from a first public land mobile network (PLMN) associated with the UE, a discovery request. The example method may further include receiving, from the first network entity from the first PLMN, a discovery response including security information generated by a second network entity from a second PLMN associated with the UE. The example method may further include communicating a sidelink message based on the security information generated by the second PLMN.

    UNICAST AIR-TO-EVERYTHING (A2X) COMMUNICATIONS

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE), such as an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) (e.g., a source UAV), may initiate a unicast link establishment procedure with another UAV (e.g., a target UAV), which may enable the UAVs to communicate according to an air-to-everything (A2X) service type. The source UAV may transmit a direct communication request (DCR) message to the target UAV that includes an application-layer identifier (ID) that is unique to the target UAV. The source UAV may derive the application-layer ID for the target UAV from a UE-specific ID that is unique to the target UAV. Alternatively, the source UAV may transmit a DCR message that excludes target UAV information. Instead, the DCR message may indicate one or more proximity parameters associated with the source UAV. The UAVs may communicate unicast messages via the unicast link according to A2X configurations and communication parameters.

FACTORS, BITRATES, OR PATH FOR MULTI-ACCESS PROTOCOL DATA UNIT SESSION WITH REDUNDANT STEERING MODE

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a network entity may receive policy and charging control (PCC) rules that indicate that a multi-access (MA) protocol data unit (PDU) session is to be established with a redundant steering mode. The network entity may transmit N4 interface rules that indicate the redundant steering mode and parameters for the MA PDU session, such as an uplink duplication factor, a downlink duplication factor, an uplink redundant bitrate, a downlink redundant bitrate, or an access path to duplicate. The network entity may transmit access traffic steering, switching, and splitting (ATSSS) rules that indicate, for the MA PDU session, an indication to use the redundant steering mode and the parameters. Numerous other aspects are described.
