    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A UE may receive an indication of a set of one or more power constraints applicable to a network entity. The UE may receive a channel state information reference signal associated with one or more transmission and reception points of the network entity. The UE may select a plurality of precoding parameters (e.g., coherent joint transmission parameters) based on the set of one or more power constraints. The UE may transmit a channel state information report to the network entity indicating a set of one or more codebooks for one or more coherent joint transmissions received at the UE in accordance with the set of one or more power constraints, where set of one or more the codebooks may indicate the plurality of precoding parameters.

The described techniques provide for training a beam for multiple component carriers (CCs) for concurrent communications in a wireless communications system associated with limited user equipment (UE) capabilities. The UE receives, via a first receive beam, a first reference signal on a group of CCs over a first symbol. The UE also receives, via a second receive beam, a second reference signal on the group of CCs over a second symbol. The UE selects a receive beam for a subsequent communication based on determining a value of a parameter for each of the first and the second receive beam.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods and devices for wireless communication including an apparatus, e.g., a UE and/or base station. In one aspect, the apparatus may receive a channel state information (CSI) report configuration via radio resource control (RRC) signaling, the CSI report configuration including at least one of a channel measurement resource (CMR) resource setting, an interference measurement resource (IMR) resource setting, or a report quantity parameter. The apparatus may also determine a downlink receive beam of one or more downlink receive beams based on the CSI report configuration. The apparatus may also communicate with a base station via the downlink receive beam based on the determined downlink receive beam. Additionally, the apparatus may calculate a signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR) quantity associated with a plurality of downlink transmit beams. The apparatus may also decode the CSI report configuration.
