In some aspects, a user equipment may select at least one target node for a radio resource control connection, wherein the user equipment is in a particular radio resource control communication state when the at least one target node is selected, and wherein the user equipment is configured to communicate using dual-connectivity, wherein context information associated with the user equipment is stored by the user equipment, a master node associated with the user equipment, and a secondary node associated with the user equipment based at least in part on the user equipment being in the particular radio resource control communication state; and/or transmit information to the at least one target node or the master node to cause the context information to be provided to the at least one target node. 摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. Generally, the described techniques provide a base station receiving an indication from a core network to serve multicast/broadcast traffic to one or more UEs. The base station may select a radio bearer mode from a plurality of radio bearer modes for delivery of the multicast/broadcast traffic to at least one UE of the one or more UEs. For example, the base station may select a multicast/broadcast only mode, a mixed multicast/broadcast mode and unicast mode, or a unicast mode for service of the traffic. Dependent on the selected mode and/or quality of service, the base station may select a dedicated radio bearer (DRB) for communication of the traffic in a unicast mode (e.g., to a particular UE) or a multicast radio bearer (MRB) for communication of the traffic in a broadcast/multicast mode.

摘要: A UE may select one or more paging attributes for paging reception. The one or more paging attributes may be selected from a set of network supported paging attributes. The UE may transmit, to a network, an indication of the one or more paging attributes for paging reception. The UE may receive, from the network, a response message based on the indication of the one or more paging attributes. The response message may include a first UE group number. The first UE group number may be based on at least the one or more paging attributes. The UE may receive a paging indication including a UE group number. The UE may proceed to receive and decode the paging message associated with the paging indication when the UE group number in the paging indication matches the first UE group number. Otherwise, the UE may safely disregard the paging message.

A UE may camp in a virtual cell and may be in an idle mode or an inactive mode in the virtual cell. The UE may transition out of the idle or inactive mode and switch from camping in the virtual cell to connecting to a physical cell encompassed by the virtual cell through reselection, redirection, and handover procedures. The virtual cell may include a central unit and multiple distributed units, which may be configured in various physical implementations. Additionally, the virtual cell may be limited to broadcast only or selective unicast signaling.

摘要: Wireless communications systems and methods related to acknowledgement/negative-acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) feedback operations for multicast communications are provided. A first user equipment (UE) receives, from a base station (BS), a multicast feedback configuration indicating a first resource configuration for a negative-acknowledgement (NACK) feedback mode; and a second resource configuration for an acknowledgement/negative-acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) feedback mode. The first UE receives, from the BS, a first multicast communication. The first UE transmits, to the BS, a NACK feedback for the first multicast communication based on the first resource configuration. The first UE receives, from the BS, a second multicast communication. The first UE transmits, to the BS, an ACK feedback or a NACK feedback for the second multicast communication based on the second resource configuration.

A base station may communicate with a user equipment (UE) or multiple UEs using multicast transmissions, and each of the multiple UEs may use shared resources to transmit feedback. A UE may receive a power control configuration associated with multicast communications and indicating one or more control parameters or weighting factors for uplink feedback. The UE may monitor a set of downlink resources for the multicast message from the base station, and may determine a decoding failure for the multicast message. The UE may determine whether to transmit uplink feedback to the base station based on the received power control parameters, such as adjusting UE transmit power using a weighting factor or other power control parameters. The UE may determine whether to transmit the uplink feedback message indicating the decoding failure based on the power control configuration.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may selectively determine to decode a downlink shared channel multicast transmission based on whether the downlink shared channel includes a retransmission of an initial multicast transmission. A base station may transmit a message in a downlink control channel to indicate if the downlink shared channel is carrying the retransmission of the initial multicast transmission. For example, the base station may transmit a group random network temporary identifier, downlink control information with a retransmission indicator bit, or both to indicate if the downlink shared channel is carrying the retransmission. In some cases, the message in the downlink control channel may be received at a layer one (L1) of the UE, and the downlink shared channel transmission may be decoded at L1 of the UE and sent to a layer two (L2) of the UE for processing.
