摘要: This disclosure provides a method, apparatus, and computer-readable medium for wireless communication at a modem, comprising receiving, via an interface with a host, an internet protocol (IP) packet including a first transport protocol header and a first IP header. The IP packet has a size greater than a maximum transport unit (MTU) size allowable for each packet transmitted over a communication link. The modem segments the IP packet into a plurality of segments based on a segment size indicated by a segmentation policy. Each segment includes a respective derived segment transport protocol header and a respective derived segment IP header derived from the IP packet. Each of these derived headers includes at least one field based on the segmentation policy, and each of the segment transport protocol headers includes a checksum for the respective segment. Additionally, the modem transmits the plurality of segments over the communication link.

摘要: Wireless communications systems and methods related to uplink buffer management are provided. In some aspects, a user equipment receives a synchronization acknowledgment message destined for a device tethered to the user equipment and transmitted by an application server at a network to which the user equipment is connected. In some aspects, the synchronization acknowledgment message includes an application server receiver window size indicating available buffer space in a receive buffer of the application server. The user equipment can modify the application server receiver window size in the received synchronization acknowledgment message prior to transmitting the received synchronization acknowledgment to the tethered device.

摘要: Systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support mechanisms for identifying hyper frame number (HFN) desynchronization conditions and/or for triggering HFN resynchronization in a wireless communication system. In aspects, an HFN desynchronization condition is identified based on Ethernet frame validation. For example, aspects of the present disclosure provide mechanisms for validating and Ethernet frame. An HFN desynchronization condition is identified or detected when an Ethernet frame is determined to be corrupt based on the Ethernet frame validation in accordance with aspects herein. In some aspects, such as in Ethernet header compression (EHC) protocol implementations, an HFN desynchronization condition may be identified based on a determination that a deciphered context identification (CID) is not a valid CID (e.g., is not a CID in a set of valid CIDs).

A WiFi scheduler of an access device, such as a customer premises equipment (CPE), may obtain communication parameters about a cellular connection of the access device, such as bandwidth part (BWP) information or start and end markers of downlink data transmissions over the cellular connection. The access device may select a number of spatial streams (NSS) for wireless local area network (WLAN) communications according to the received communication parameters pertaining to the cellular connection, and communicate with one or more stations (STAs) over a WLAN connection using the selected number of spatial streams.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, a control message indicating a resource configuration for uplink and downlink transmissions. The UE may determine an uplink buffer threshold for a modem buffer of the UE based on the resource configuration. The UE may transmit, to the base station, a feedback request message requesting that the base station provide feedback for at least one previously transmitted uplink packet based on a comparison of an amount of previously transmitted uplink data and scheduled uplink data stored in the modem buffer relative to the uplink buffer threshold. The UE may receive, based on transmitting the feedback request message, a feedback response message corresponding to a first previously transmitted uplink packet of the at least one previously transmitted uplink packet.

摘要: Aspects are provided which allow a UE to manage a number of antennas in adaptive receive diversity (ARD) based on packet error rate (PER). The UE measures a downlink PER and determines a number of antennas for receiving a downlink transmission based on the measured, downlink PER. The UE measures downlink PER during switching from a fallback state to a steady state in an ARD state machine, and the UE changes a size of a fallback window in the ARD state machine based on the measured, downlink PER. The UE also disables switching from the steady state to the fallback state based on the measured downlink PER. As a result, a balance between UE reception performance and power savings is maximized and improved downlink data throughput is achieved.
