Abstract:
An intervertebral implant frame that is configured to be attached to a spacer body can include a pair of arms that extend longitudinally from a support member such that the arms extend substantially around the spacer body. The arms may be configured to expand, crimp, or otherwise engage the spacer body to thereby hold the spacer body to the frame. The spacer body may be made from bone graft.
Abstract:
A punching bag base and punching bag assembly. The base provides multiple areas to store exercise accessories such as weighted dumbbells and weighted ankle weights. In one form, the areas formed in the base to receive weights or related exercise equipment form a shape that is complementary to that of the equipment stored in it. In another form, the base can be of a generally hollow construction to accept ballast to provide additional stability of the base when it is placed on a floor or related support structure. The system may also include an integrated hook placed on the pole that allows the user the ability to hang boxing gloves, towels or other exercise equipment. The system may also include a wheel assembly to facilitate ease of movement.

Abstract:
A pet leash and a method of making and using same. In one embodiment, the leash includes one or more features for improving functionality. In one form, such features include one or more compartments (40A), lighting and timing components or a combination thereof. One such feature is the ability to include numerous recesses into the housing (20) and grip (30). This allows multiple devices, such as a pet water bowl, pet treat compartment and one or more pet waste bags to be stored within the leash. In a particular form, the water bowl is made in a collapsible configuration to facilitate placement in the housing when not in use, and to allow it to expand when removed for use. In a particular form, the recesses formed in the housing to hold the various devices may be spaced around a portion of the housing used to contain a pet leash line and its associated retraction mechanism.
Abstract:
An intervertebral implant that is configured to be inserted into an intervertebral space along a direction of insertion is provided. The intervertebral space is defined by a superior vertebral body and an inferior vertebral body that are opposed in a transverse direction. The intervertebral implant may include a body and a first keel. The body may have first and second opposing outer surfaces that are each configured to engage one of the superior and inferior vertebral bodies. The first keel may extend out from the first outer surface in an outward direction and may define a lateral width that increases with respect to an outward direction along the first keel such that an outer portion of the first keel is wider than an inner portion of the first keel. The lateral width may be substantially transverse to the insertion direction and the outward direction.
Abstract:
A method and computer program product for eliminating maximum and minimum expressions within loop bounds are provided. A loop in a code is identified. The loop is determined to meet conditions, which require an upper loop bound and a lower loop bound to contain maximum and minimum expressions, loop-invariant operands, a predetermined size for a code size, and a total number of instructions to be greater than a predetermined constant. A profitability of loop versioning is determined based on a performance gain of a fast version of the loop, a probability of executing the fast version of the loop at runtime, and an overhead for performing loop versioning. A pair of lower loop bound and upper loop bound values resulting in a constant number is identified. A loop iteration value is checked to be a non-zero constant. Branches are identified, and loop versioning is performed to generate a versioned loop.
Abstract:
A raised floor sleeper for an over the road tractor for pulling a trailer. In order to effectively utilize the upper space in a sky-rise sleeper cab, one must first be able to reach it, which is the fundamental reason for the raised floor. Beyond bringing the upper space to the driver, raising the floor offers many other advantages. A combination stool and coffee table provides options that are enabled by the raised floor. The stool offers additional seating for socializing. The stool also functions as a freestanding table leg for the coffee table. The coffee table has a female indent on the bottom that mate with the stool. Two legs fold out supporting the other side of the table.
