Abstract: Modification of the rheology of a liquid medium, aqueous or nonaqueous, with polymers in the form of specific particles obtained by grinding (micronizing) a porous macrogel, itself prepared by a process comprising a radical polymerization step which comprises reacting in the presence of pore formers monomers containing monomers bearing at least two ethylenic unsaturations, typically in combination with monomers bearing a single ethylenic unsaturation; a polymerization initiator; and optionally a polymerization control agent. These polymer particles keep other particles in suspension within the liquid medium, and also the stabilized suspensions are obtained.

Abstract: The present invention relates to the use of a sequenced polymer as an agent for monitoring the filtrate in a fluid injected under pressure into an oil rock, wherein the fluid comprises solid particles and/or is brought into contact with solid particles within the oil rock after being injected, the polymer comprising at least three blocks, including: at least one first block which is adsorbed, preferably irreversibly, onto at least some of the particles (p); a second block (B) having a composition other than that of the first and a mean molecular weight of more than 10,000 g/mol, and which is soluble in the fluid (F); and at least one third block of type (A) or type (B).

Abstract: This invention relates to the field of techniques for treating subterranean formations with gels during an oil or gas exploration or production operation, i.e., during drilling, completion, or hydraulic fracking processes. The invention relates in particular to a system making it possible to limit or even inhibit the phenomena known as loss of fluids (wager and/or gas) in an underground formation, particularly in a zone where the temperature is high.
More particularly, the invention relates to a suspension (S) comprising: an aqueous phase containing salts; and within said aqueous phase, particles (p) based on associative polymers (P).

Abstract: The present invention relates to the use of a combination of block polymers and particular compositions in a fluid injected under pressure into an oil-bearing rock, where: the fluid comprises solid particles and/or is brought into contact with solid particles within the oil-bearing rock following the injection thereof, the combination comprises (i) a polymer comprising: —a first block that is adsorbed on at least a portion of the particles; and —a second block, having a composition different from that of the first, and having a weight-average molecular weight of greater than 10 000 g/mol, for example greater than 100 000 g/mol, and that is soluble in the fluid; (ii) particles suitable for providing a gas barrier effect, preferably a latex and/or silica particles.
