摘要: A flow regulator for a gas shock absorber is connected between the primary cylinder and the secondary cylinder. The flow regulator allows a user to adjust the rate of flow of fluid from the primary cylinder to the secondary cylinder thereby varying the damping properties of the shock absorber. The adjustment is effected by rotating one of a plurality of orifices of different sizes into the fluid flow path.

摘要: A hydraulic drive system for storing and releasing hydraulic fluid includes a high pressure storage device, a low pressure storage device, and a pump-motor operating at a range of pump-motor speeds for converting between hydraulic energy and mechanical energy. The pump-motor is disposed between the high pressure device and the low pressure device. In normal operation, the hydraulic drive system enters a motoring mode where hydraulic energy is released from the high pressure storage device and converted to mechanical energy using the pump-motor. It also enters a pumping mode where mechanical energy is converted into hydraulic energy. A neutral state exists where hydraulic energy is neither stored nor released from the high pressure storage device. When the pump-motor includes a swash-plate or similar structure, compensating for drift during normal operation helps to promote efficient operation of the hydraulic drive system.

摘要: The present invention is directed to a pressure washer having an internal mounting and outer clam shell housing. Accordingly, a pressure washer includes an engine for mechanically coupled to a pump. An internal mounting assembly including a folded portion is disposed generally between the engine and the pump so as to mount/support the engine and pump structure. In embodiments, various axle mounting structures such as a unitary axle bracket, a separate axle bracket, or the like is integrated with a folded main mounting into the mounting assembly. An axle assembly having at least two spaced apart wheels pivotally mounted to an axle which extends through the internal mounting axle bracket is included in the pressure washer. A generally U-shaped frame member is secured to at least one of the internal mounting/engine. The U-shaped frame member is implemented to support the pressure washer in a tripod like fashion with the wheels when disposed on a support surface. A plastic outer housing is utilized to substantially encompass the pump so as to prevent damage, minimize the need for refinement of the internal mounting assembly (for ascetics, for corrosion protection, finishing), and the like. Preferably, the outer housing implements clam shell portions with corresponding mechanical interconnects to mechanically secure the various sections. A fastener may be implemented to secure the shell portions generally adjacent a side opposite the mechanical interconnects.

摘要: A die apparatus permits the formation of an internal recess in a molded part. The die apparatus includes first and second mold members which are movable between an open and closed position. A core pin assembly includes a first core pin element and a second core pin element supported between the movable mold members for relative movement therewith. A resiliently deformable element is positioned between the first and second core pin elements. The resiliently deformable element is deformably expandable to form an external projection upon relative movement of the mold members to a closed position, and is elastically returnable upon the relative movement of the mold members to an open position.
