摘要： Insecticidal agents containing insecticidal active ingredients selected from the group consisting of carbamates, phosphoric (phosphonic) (di)(thio) acid esters, pyrethrins, pyrethroids, .alpha.-alkylphenyl acetates, .alpha.-cyclopropyl-phenyl acetates and chlorinated hydrocarbons, and, to increase the insecticidal action of these active ingredients, triazole derivatives or salts thereof.The triazole derivatives have the formula ##STR1## where R denotes unsubstituted or halogen-substituted phenyl, or ##STR2## Y denoting hydrogen, halogen, alkylmercapto of 1 to 6 carbon atoms, alkenylmercapto of 2 to 6 carbon atoms, or unsubstituted or halogen-substituted phenylmercapto, X denoting halogen, and n denoting one of the integers zero, 1 and 2, with the proviso that n does not denote zero when Y is halogen.

摘要： Paper, board and cardboard are produced by a process in which a paper stock is drained in the presence of condensates of basic amino acids with sheet formation. In particular, homo- and cocondensates of lysine and the crosslinked condensates obtainable therefrom by reaction with crosslinking agents are used in amounts of from 0.01 to 5% by weight, based on dry paper stock, as a means of increasing the dry and wet strength and the absorptivity of paper, for fixing anionic dyes and interfering substances in the paper, for increasing the drainage rate and the retention as well as the efficiency of synthetic anionic and cationic retention aids in the production of paper, board and cardboard by draining a paper stock with sheet formation.

摘要： In a cationic modification process for starch, starch is reacted with polymers that contain amino and/or ammonium groups in an aqueous medium at temperatures from 115.degree. C. to 180.degree. C. under an increased pressure and in the absence of oxidizers, polymerization initiators and alkali. The reaction is conducted so that maximum 10% by weight starch has its molar weight reduced. Also disclosed is the use of the thus obtained reaction products as dry strength agents for paper.

摘要： There are described water-soluble condensation products of amino-containing compounds and crosslinkers, obtainable by reacting(a) polyalkylenepolyamines, polyamidoamines, ethylene-imine-grafted polyamidoamines, polyetheramines and mixtures thereof, with(b) monethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acids, salts, esters, amides or nitriles of monoethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acids, chlorocarboxylic acids and/or glycidyl compounds such as glycidic acid, glycidamide or glycidyl esters, and(c) at least bifunctional crosslinkers having a halo-hydrin, glycidyl, aziridine or isocyanate unit or a halogen atom as functional group,to form water-soluble condensation products having a viscosity of at least 100 mPas in a 20% strength by weight aqueous solution at 20.degree. C., processes for preparing the water-soluble condensation products by reacting the abovementioned compounds of groups (a), (b) and (c), and the use of the condensation products as drainage, flocculation and retention aids in papermaking.

摘要： Copolymers which are obtained by copolymerization ofa) from 5 to 99 mol % of N-vinylcarboxamides,b) from 95 to 1 mol % of monoethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acids and/or the alkali metal, alkaline earth metal, ammonium or amine salts thereof, and if required,c) up to 30 mol % of other monoethylenically unsaturated compounds, and if required,d) up to 2 mol % of crosslinking agents,and subsequent partial or complete elimination of the acyl groups from the N-vinylcarboxamides polymerized in the copolymer, with formation of amino or ammonium groups, are used as additives to paper stock for increasing the drainage rate and the retention in papermaking, and the dry and wet strength of the paper.
