Abstract: A lithium aluminum silicate (LAS) glass-ceramic has an average coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) in a range from 0 to 50° C. of at most 0±0.1×10−6/K and a thermal hysteresis at least in a temperature range from 15° C. to 35° C. of 0.5-1.5; R2O>0.5, where R2O is Na2O and/or K2O and/or Cs2O and/or Rb2O; and nucleating agent with a content of 1.5 to 6 mol %. Abstract: A ceramic printing ink is provided that is suitable for application using an inkjet printing process to produce a coating on glass ceramics. The ink includes a glassy material of glass particles and pigment particles. The glass particles are present in a ratio of total weight to the pigment particles of at least 1.5 and less than 19. The glass particles have an equivalent diameter d90 ranging from at least 0.5 μm to at most 5 μm. The ink has an effective coefficient of linear thermal expansion, α20-300,eff, in a range from 6.5*10−6/K to 11*10−6/K.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a bonding glass which has improved water resistance and has a coefficient of thermal expansion α(25-300) of from 14·10−6K−1 to 17·10−6K−1, comprising, in mol % on an oxide basis, 5-7 of B2O3, 10-14 of Al2O3, 36-43 of P2O5, 15-22 of Na2O, 12.5-20 of K2O, 2-6 of Bi2O3 and >0-6 of R oxide, where R oxide is an oxide selected from the group consisting of MnO2 and SiO2 and SnO2 and Ta2O5 and Nb2O5 and Fe2O3 and GeO2 and CaO. The bonding glass is free of PbO except for, at most, impurities. The bonding glass may have a glass transition temperature Tg of from 390° C. to 430° C. The present disclosure also relates to uses of this bonding glass.
