Abstract: Provided is a liquid crystal display device in which the scattering of a light control film becomes uniform on a pixel by pixel basis. A liquid crystal display device 1 includes: a light source 2; a liquid crystal panel 4 that modulates light emitted from the light source 2; and a light control film 7 that uses a total reflection and is disposed closer to a viewer side than to the liquid crystal panel 4. The light control film 7 includes a base substrate 39 having light transmission property, and a light-shielding layer 40 and a light diffusing portion 41 formed on one surface side of the base substrate 39. Patterns of the light-shielding layer 40 are anisotropic. A longitudinal direction of the patterns and a longitudinal direction of one region in which a property of the liquid crystal panel 4 is approximately equal intersect each other.

Abstract: Provided is a liquid crystal display device having good display properties without complicated manufacturing processes. Abstract: A humidity conditioning method includes: the humidity-absorbing step of bringing a hygroscopic liquid containing a hygroscopic material into contact with a first mass of air so that the hygroscopic liquid absorbs moisture in the first mass of air; and the regeneration step of separating moisture from the hygroscopic liquid having absorbed moisture, wherein the regeneration step retains the hygroscopic liquid having absorbed moisture, bombards at least some of the retained hygroscopic liquid with ultrasound to generate misty droplets from the hygroscopic liquid having absorbed moisture, and removes the misty droplets to separate moisture from the hygroscopic liquid.

Abstract: A daylighting film (1) according to an aspect of the invention includes a first base (2), a plurality of daylighting portions (3) constituted by a plurality of polygonal prism structures, and gaps (9) provided between the plurality of daylighting portions (3). Each of the daylighting portions (3) is a polygon that has four vertexes in a sectional shape orthogonal to a longitudinal direction and has all interior angles less than 180°, and has a first side that is a side of the polygon corresponding to a surface in contact with the first base (2) and a plurality of vertexes including a first vertex and a second vertex that are vertexes corresponding to both ends of the first side, and a third vertex that is not positioned on the first side. A length of a line perpendicular to the first side passing the third vertex is longer than lengths of lines perpendicular to the first side passing vertexes other than the third vertex among the plurality of vertexes, and a shape of the daylighting portion 3 is asymmetrical with the line perpendicular to the first side passing the third vertex as a center.
