    Abstract: A bicycle control apparatus is provided with a controller for controlling an output of an assist motor according to a manual drive force. The controller is configured to selectively set a first control state and a second control state, in which output states of the assist motor with respect to the manual drive force are different from each other. The controller controls the output of the assist motor so that a response speed of the assist motor with respect to changes in the manual drive force in the first control state will be faster than the response speed of the assist motor with respect to changes in the manual drive force in the second control state, when a crank of a bicycle is rotated from a stopped state and/or when a rotational speed of the crank is less than or equal to a prescribed first speed.

    Abstract: An electrical bicycle operating system includes a first switch unit that includes a first switch group configured to be mounted to a bicycle on a first side of a central longitudinal axis of the bicycle, the first switch group including a first switch and a second switch having a first position and a second position in the first switch group. Also included is a second switch unit that includes a second switch group configured to be mounted to the bicycle on an opposite side from the first side, the second switch group including a third switch having a same position as the first position. A control unit is configured to generate a first signal where the first switch unit is actuated, a second signal where the second switch unit is actuated, and a third signal where the first switch unit and the second switch unit are actuated concurrently.

The control device comprises a controller configured to instruct the automatic transmission to shift among a plurality of speed stages, each speed stage having an associated cadence range, wherein the controller is further configured to determine a traveling resistance of the bicycle, and if the traveling resistance exceeds a predetermined threshold, the controller is configured to adjust at least one of the cadence ranges, and following the adjustment of the at least one cadence range, the controller is further configured to operate the automatic transmission to shift based upon the adjusted cadence range and a detected cadence.

    Abstract: A wireless communication device for a human-powered vehicle comprises a wireless communicator and a controller. The wireless communicator is configured to wirelessly receive a control signal from an operating wireless communicator of an operating device. The wireless communicator has a first mode and a second mode. The wireless communicator is configured to wirelessly transmit a connection demand signal in the second mode to establish wireless communication between the wireless communicator and an external wireless communicator of an external electric device different from the operating device. The wireless communicator is configured to wirelessly receive a connection signal which is wirelessly transmitted in response to the connection demand signal from the external wireless communicator of the external electric device. The controller is configured to set the wireless communicator with the first mode if the connection signal indicates that the external electric device is the paired device.
