[Solution] There is provided an apparatus including: a communication unit configured to perform radio communication; and a control unit configured to perform control such that transmission is performed from the communication unit to a terminal by narrowing at least one of a symbol interval of a complex symbol sequence in a time direction and a subcarrier interval of the complex symbol sequence in a frequency direction, the complex symbol sequence being converted from a bit sequence, the symbol interval and the subcarrier interval being set on a basis of a predetermined condition.

The present disclosure relates to a signal processing apparatus, a signal processing method, a program, and an object detection system that enable an object detection to be accurately performed. A stereo camera performs imaging by a right camera and a left camera to thereby acquire a stereo image and a millimeter wave radar acquires a radar image in which a position of an object is detected in a radiation range of millimeter waves by using millimeter waves that are radio waves of a millimeter wave band. Then, by communication via a communication apparatus with a target in which positional information is known, it is determined whether or not the target is reliable, and in a case where it is determined that the target is reliable, calibration processing is performed for eliminating a deviation in coordinate systems generated in the stereo image and the radar image in which the target is detected. For example, the present technology can be applied to an on-vehicle sensor mounted on a vehicle in which automatic driving control is performed.

A user equipment includes radio communication unit that performs radio communication with a base station over a communication channel formed by aggregating a plurality of component carriers. The user equipment has a measurement unit that measures a channel quality of the communication channel, and a controller that creates a measurement report using a result of the measurement and sends the measurement report to the base station. Each data signal transmitted over the communication channel is classified into any of two or more classes depending on a QoS requirement thereof. The radio communication unit receives control information related to a mapping between each of the plurality of component carriers and the class of each data signal from the base station, and the controller controls at least one of the measurement and the sending of the measurement report, according to a procedure which varies depending on the control information. A base station performs associated functions, according to a communication method involving allocation of data to component carriers based at least in part on channel quality criteria for different data classifications.

Provided is a communication apparatus that flexibly switches execution/non-execution of FD. The communication apparatus includes the followings: a resource allocation unit that allocates, to another communication apparatus, reception radio resources in a predetermined frequency channel and allocates transmission radio resources at least partially overlapping the reception radio resources on a time axis; and a notification unit that notifies the other communication apparatus of information regarding the reception radio resources and the transmission radio resources. The resource allocation unit further allocates transmission radio resources at least partially overlapping the reception radio resources on a frequency axis.

Provided is communication control device including a determination unit which determines whether an access type of a small cell which at least partially overlaps a macro cell of a radio communication system is a closed access type or an open access type, an identification unit which, when it is determined that the access type of the small cell is the closed access type, identifies a user terminal of the macro cell which should be protected from interference caused by a radio signal from the small cell, and an interference control unit which transmits an interference control signal to a base station of the small cell so that the interference on the user terminal identified by the identification unit is reduced.
