摘要: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for monitoring vehicles traversing a roadway using acoustic sensors. In some implementations, a server obtains data from an acoustic sensor monitoring road actors traversing a roadway at a first location. The server obtains data from an imaging sensor monitoring the road actors traversing the roadway at a second location. The server generates correlation data using the data from the acoustic sensor and the data from the imaging sensor. The server determines observations of the road actors traversing the roadway using the data from the acoustic sensor and the data from the imaging sensor. The server trains a machine-learning model to estimate characteristics of the road actors using the correlation data and the determined observations of the road actors from the imaging sensor and the acoustic sensor.

摘要: Systems and methods are provided for utilizing sensor data from sensors of different modalities and from different vehicles to generate a combined image of an environment. Sensor data, such as a point cloud, generated by a LiDAR sensor on a first vehicle may be combined with sensor data, such as image data, generated by a camera on a second vehicle. The point cloud and image data may be combined to provide benefits over either data individually and processed to provide an improved image of the environment of the first and second vehicles. Either vehicle can perform this processing when receiving the sensor data from the other vehicle. An external system can also do the processing when receiving the sensor data from both vehicles. The improved image can then be used by one or both of the vehicles to improve, for example, automated travel through or obstacle identification in the environment.

摘要: A method comprises: receiving data corresponding to a plurality of data categories of a patient; selecting, from a plurality of trained machine learning models and based on the plurality of data categories, a first machine learning model and a second machine learning model, the first machine learning model being trained using first data of a first subset of the plurality of data categories and having a first weight indicative of a first performance metric value, the second machine learning model being trained using second data of a second subset of the plurality of data categories and having a second weight indicative of a second performance metric value; generating a first prediction result and a second prediction result using, respectively, the first model and the second model; and generating a combined prediction result based on the first prediction result, the second prediction result, the first weight and the second weight.

摘要: A material characterization system includes an imaging unit, a material characterization controller, and an imaging unit controller. The electronic imaging unit generates a test image of a specimen composed of a material. The electronic material characterization controller determines values of a plurality of parameters and maps the parameters to corresponding ground truth labeled outputs. The mapped parameters are applied to at least one test image to predict a presence of at least one target attribute of the specimen in response to applying the learned parameters. The test image is convert to a selected output image format so as to generate a synthetic image including the predicted at least one attribute. The electronic imaging unit controller performs a material characterization analysis that characterizes the material of the specimen based on the predicted at least one attribute included in the synthetic image.

In accordance with aspects of the present disclosure, a training set of data is accessed. A preprocessing query specifying a set of preprocessing parameter values that indicate a manner in which to preprocess the training set of data is received. Based on the preprocessing query, a preprocessing operation is performed to preprocess the training set of data in accordance with the set of preprocessing parameter values to obtain a set of preprocessed data. The set of preprocessed data can be provided for presentation as a preview. Based on an acceptance of the set of preprocessed data, the set of preprocessed data is used to train a machine learning model that can be subsequently used to predict data.

摘要: Systems and methods are described for automatically identifying a food item. A color image and a thermal image are received by an electronic processor with a first food item in the field of view of both the color image and the thermal image. The electronic processor identifies a region of pixels in the color image that corresponds to the first food item based at least in part on a temperature intensity of the pixels in the identified region of pixels relative to other pixels in the thermal image. At least one feature is extracted from the identified region of pixels in the color image corresponding to the first food item and the electronic processor automatically identifies a type of food corresponding to the first food item based at least in part on the at least extracted feature.

摘要: An image forensics system estimates a camera response function (CRF) associated with a digital image, and compares the estimated CRF to a set of rules and compares the estimated CRF to a known CRF. The known CRF is associated with a make and a model of an image sensing device. The system applies a fusion analysis to results obtained from comparing the estimated CRF to a set of rules and from comparing the estimated CRF to the known CRF, and assesses the integrity of the digital image as a function of the fusion analysis.
