    Abstract: An electronic device, a display device, and a method for controlling the same are provided. The method for controlling an electronic device includes communicating with a display device that displays content; sensing a motion of the electronic device, and determining whether the electronic device is in an alignment state for providing a content service from the display device based on the result of motion sensing; transmitting an event signal that includes alignment state information to the display device if the electronic device is in the alignment state; and displaying content information about the content that is received from the display device. Accordingly, the electronic device can receive the content information related to the content that is being displayed on the display device more intuitively and quickly.

    Abstract: A display apparatus and method capable of controlling the movement of a cursor are provided.
