    Abstract: An electronic device is includes battery; coil; wireless charging circuit electrically connected to coil; power management module configured to control charge state of battery by using power supplied from receiving circuit; and processor operatively connected to wireless charging circuit and power management module, wherein processor is configured to request configuration information for performing wireless charging from external device through the wireless charging circuit; determine whether wireless charging is possible, based on a response to the request for configuration information; when the wireless charging is possible, request encrypted authentication information from the external device so as to perform authentication with respect to the external device; when the external device is an unauthenticated device, request the external device to transmit a first predetermined power; and when the external device is an authenticated device, request the external device to transmit a second predetermined power that is higher than the first predetermined power.

    Abstract: A power relay device may be included on/in a cover which covers a portable power reception device, and may comprise: a coil; a power reception circuit configured to rectify a power signal received from a power transmission device through the coil; a wireless communication circuit configured to be driven using the power signal received from the power reception circuit and to communicate with the power transmission device and the power reception device using the coil; and a relay control circuit configured to be driven using the power signal received from the power reception circuit and electrically connected to the power reception circuit and the wireless communication circuit. The relay control circuit may be configured to: receive a first received power value indicating power consumed by the power reception device from the wireless communication circuit; and based on the first received power value being received, transmit a second received power value indicating power consumed by the power relay device to the power transmission device using the wireless communication circuit.

    Abstract: An electronic device according to various embodiments include a sensor, a first magnetic element which can be rotated to have a polarity of a first pole or a second pole in a first direction, and a processor. When the first magnetic element is aligned in the first direction by a magnetic force generated due to the approach of a second magnetic element included in an external electronic device, the processor is configured to identify the strength of the magnetic force and the polarity of the first magnetic element corresponding to the magnetic force by means of the sensor, select any one of a plurality of power transmission methods on the basis of the strength of the magnetic force and the polarity, and transmit power to the external electronic device wirelessly on the basis of the power transmission method.
