Abstract: Certain embodiments relate to an electronic device and a method for changing gamma values and may include determining a target gamma curve related to first image data to be displayed by a display panel, receiving a request for switching a scan rate of the display panel from a first frequency to a second frequency, determining a gamma offset and an offset margin in response to reception of the request, determining a limit gamma curve generated by applying the gamma offset and the offset margin to the first gamma curve, generating second image data by correcting the first image data, based on a difference value between the limit gamma curve and the target gamma curve to map the first image data to the target gamma curve, and driving the display panel, based on the second image data and the limit gamma curve. Abstract: A heat pump system may include: a compressor configured to compress a refrigerant; a refrigerant-water heat exchanger configured to perform heat exchange between the compressed refrigerant and inlet water; an expansion valve configured to expand the refrigerant condensed in the refrigerant-water heat exchanger; an outdoor heat exchanger configured to perform heat exchange between the refrigerant expanded in the expansion valve and outdoor air; a high pressure sensor configured to detect a high pressure saturation temperature of the refrigerant compressed in the compressor; an inlet water temperature sensor configured to detect a temperature of water flowing into the refrigerant-water heat exchanger; a condensation temperature sensor configured to detect a temperature of the refrigerant condensed in the refrigerant-water heat exchanger; an outdoor temperature sensor configured to detect an outdoor temperature; and a controller including at least one processor, comprising processing circuitry, individually and/or collectively, configured to: determine a reference supercooling degree of the refrigerant based on detection of outdoor temperature by the outdoor temperature sensor and inlet water temperature by the inlet water temperature sensor and an operating frequency of the compressor, determine a current degree of supercooling of the refrigerant based on detection of pressure saturation temperature by the high pressure sensor and condensation temperature by the condensation temperature sensor, and determine whether the refrigerant leaks by comparing the reference supercooling degree and the current degree of supercooling.

Abstract: There is provided a memory device including a content addressable memory physical layer connected to external data pads. During the write operation, the content addressable memory physical layer transmits a selected data pattern from among data patterns stored in a content addressable memory cell array as input data to selected memory cells of a memory cell array corresponding to an address received from external device based on first data received from the external data pads. During the read operation, the content addressable memory physical layer compares output data read from the memory cell array with the data patterns based on an address received from external device, and outputs content addressable memory address corresponding to data pattern matched by a result of the comparing as second data through the external data pads.
