Abstract: A method and system for generating and distributing collaborative content of communication sessions are disclosed. In some embodiments, the method includes initiating a communication session in response to a request from a first user, the communication session associated with a set of audience including a second user. The method includes positioning the second user on a virtual stage of the communication session. The method includes enabling the first user and the second user to co-host the communication session based on detecting and recording both the first user's activities and the second user's activities while the communication session is progressing. The method then includes receiving user interactions between the first user, the second user, and other audience in the set. The method further includes generating content of the communication session to include the recorded activities and received user interactions.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described for viewing missed media content. A media content stream is received at a user device. A first timestamp is logged, in response to determining a first failure in the receiving of the content stream, indicating when the first failure in the receiving of the content stream to the user device occurred. A second timestamp is logged, in response to determining a first restoration of the receiving of the content stream, indicating when the first restoration in the receiving of the content stream to the user device occurred. A first recorded portion of the media content stream is retrieved. The first recorded portion has a start point corresponding to the first timestamp and an end point corresponding to the second timestamp.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for hybrid media distribution in a telehealth session are disclosed. A telehealth session may comprise a video conferencing session between local participants in a first location, such as an operating room, and remote participants in a second location distinct from the first location. The remote participants may connect to the telehealth session via a remote server. The local participants may connect to the telehealth session via a local server disposed in the first location. The local server may forward data received from devices in the first location to the remote server. Prior to forwarding the data, the local server may obscure portions of the data to protect the privacy of the data, such as the face of a patient. The remote server may then broadcast the obscured data to the remote participants.

Abstract: A transmitting method stores data making up a coded stream into a predetermined data unit and transmits the stored data in the predetermined data unit. The transmitting method further generates presentation time information indicating a presentation time of the predetermined data unit, based on reference time information received from an external source; and transmits the predetermined data unit, first control information which includes the generated presentation time information, and second control information which includes leap second information indicating whether or not the presentation time information is a time that is before a leap second adjustment. A receiving method receives the predetermined data unit, first control information, and second control information; and reproduces the received predetermined data unit based on the first and second control information that are received.
