Abstract:
Disclosed is a biosensor. The biosensor comprises: an electrode; and a polymer structure disposed on the electrode and formed of poly-5,2′:5′,2″-terthiophene-3-carboxylic acid (pTTCA), wherein an enzyme is present in a state of covalently binding with pTTCA inside the polymer structure.
Abstract:
Methods and apparatuses for blood glucose measurement are provided. A first glucose concentration in a body fluid of a user is detected based on a first measurement interval. A first blood glucose level of the user is determined based on the first glucose concentration. A glucose concentration measurement interval is changed from the first measurement interval to a second measurement interval according to an occurrence of an event. A second glucose concentration in the body fluid is detected based on the second measurement interval. A second blood glucose level of the user is determined based on the second glucose concentration.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a biosignal monitoring device, comprising: a biosignal sensing patch which is attached to a skin and detects biosignals; and a monitoring patch which receives data sensed by the biosignal sensing patch and transmits the same to an external device, wherein the biosignal sensing patch comprises a sensor which is inserted into a skin and detects biosignals, a memory for storing data outputted from the sensor, and a short-range communication unit for receiving the data stored in the memory, and wherein the monitoring patch comprises an adjacent receiving unit for receiving data transmitted from the short-range communication unit of the biosignal sensing patch, and a transmission unit for transmitting the received data to an external device. In addition, the biosignal sensing patch transmits the data when the monitoring patch approaches or contacts the same, and the monitoring patch transmits, to an external device, the data received from the biosignal sensing patch.
Abstract:
An apparatus and a method for providing blood sugar care service are provided. The method includes obtaining blood sugar information of a user, when the blood sugar information is obtained for a predetermined time unit, generating a blood sugar profile based on the blood sugar information obtained during the predetermined time unit, comparing the generated blood sugar profile and a previously generated blood sugar profile, setting a blood sugar profile proximate to a normal blood sugar range as a target profile, and providing a state of blood sugar of the user based on the set target profile, thereby providing a customized blood sugar care state suitable to each user in consideration of the state of blood sugar of individuals.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a biosensor needle including a light-transmissive main body having a width that is less than a length so as to be inserted into a testee, and a plurality of metal particles provided at at least a part of the main body and generating a surface enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) effect of light incident through the main body.
Abstract:
A method of and an apparatus for measuring biometric information are provided. The method includes receiving an image of a biosensor including a reagent pad on which a sample is collected, and comparing brightness information of a reacting region of the reagent pad in the received image with reference brightness information in the received image to determine a value of a reagent reaction between the reagent pad and the sample.
Abstract:
Provided is an electron mediator system, which may include a first transition metal complex and a second transition metal complex, wherein a working potential of the electron mediator system may be substantially the same as a molar average of a working potential of the first transition metal complex and a working potential of the second transition metal complex.
Abstract:
A sensor strip cartridge and a biometric information measuring method and apparatus using the same are provided. The biometric information measuring apparatus includes a cartridge accommodator configured to accommodate a sensor strip cartridge including at least one sensor strip, a cartridge information reader configured to read cartridge information about the sensor strip cartridge from the sensor strip cartridge, a controller configured to receive biometric information through the sensor strip, and correct the received biometric information by using a biometric information correction reference corresponding to the cartridge information, and an outputter configured to output the corrected biometric information.
