Abstract: A semiconductor light-emitting device includes a light emitting structure, a wavelength conversion member arranged on an upper surface of the light emitting structure, the wavelength conversion member including a first surface in contact with the light emitting structure, a second surface opposite to the first surface, and a sidewall, wherein the first surface entirely covers the upper surface of the light emitting structure, and a portion of the sidewall adjacent to the first surface is slanted with respect to the first surface, and a coating layer arranged on the second surface of the wavelength conversion member, the coating layer including a first material layer and a second material layer alternately stacked on the second surface, wherein the first material layer includes an oxide, and the second material layer includes magnesium fluoride (MgF2), wherein the second material layer is arranged at an uppermost surface of the coating layer.

Abstract: A refrigerator includes a body including a storage compartment; a door configured to open and close the storage compartment; a door opening and closing sensor configured to detect a door open state and a door closed state; a temperature sensor provided in the storage compartment, and configured to detect a temperature of the storage compartment; an illuminator provided in the storage compartment and configured to irradiate an item in the storage compartment with the light; a storage unit configured to store sterilization information including at least one preset dose for sterilization of the item; and a processor configured to: drive the illuminator to irradiate the item with the light at the preset dose, based on a signal output by the door opening and closing sensor indicating that the door is in the door closed state and the measured temperature being outside of a preset temperature range, and terminate driving of the illuminator, based on an irradiation time period for the preset dose elapsing.

Abstract: A light emitting diode (LED) module that is configured to emit white light is provided. The LED module includes: a blue light emitting diode configured to emit blue light having a first peak wavelength of 420 nm to 465 nm; at least one wavelength conversion material that is configured to convert a portion of the blue light into converted light of a different wavelength; and a near-infrared light source configured to emit additional light having a second peak wavelength in a range of 740 nm to 900 nm and a full width at half maximum (FWHM) of 120 nm or less. The converted light, another portion of the blue light, and the additional light combine to form the white light.

Abstract: A light emitting device includes a first pixel that includes a first light-emitting structure, a first color conversion layer on the first light-emitting structure, and a first multi-layered filter on the first color conversion layer, and a second pixel that includes a second light-emitting structure, a second color conversion layer on the second light-emitting structure, and a second multi-layered filter on the second color conversion layer. Each of the first and second multi-layered filters includes at least one stack including a first film and a second film. The first multi-layered filter outputs light of a wavelength band that is different from a wavelength band of light output from the second multi-layered filter. The first multi-layered filter reflects light not output back into the first pixel and the second multi-layered filter reflects light not output back into the second pixel.
