摘要： A balanced transmission cable connector with improved high speed signal transmission characteristics is realized by directly connecting a balanced transmission cable to a plug structure. The plug structure includes a block unit, a ground contact, and adjacent pairs of a first signal contact and a second signal contact. The ground contact and the adjacent pairs of the first signal contact and the second signal contact are aligned in an alignment direction with respect to one another and are held by the block unit. The ground contact is disposed in between the adjacent pairs of the first signal contact and the second signal contact. The first signal contact includes a first signal wire connecting portion to which a first signal wire of the balanced transmission cable is connected, and the second signal contact includes a second signal wire connecting portion to which a second signal wire of the balanced transmission cable is connected. The ground contact includes a drain wire connecting portion to which a ground wire of the balanced transmission cable is connected.

摘要： A balanced transmission cable connector with improved high speed signal transmission characteristics is realized by directly connecting a balanced transmission cable to a plug structure. The plug structure includes a block unit, a ground contact, and adjacent pairs of a first signal contact and a second signal contact. A magnetic recording and reproducing apparatus includes a fixed chassis (24) to which a rotary head drum (25) is attached, a movable chassis (23) slidably supported to the fixed chassis (24), a cam gear (51) rotatably supported to the fixed chassis (24) or the movable chassis (23) and which has a cam pin (51a) and a cam plate (59) attached to the movable chassis (23) or the fixed chassis (24) and which has a guide groove (65) with which the cam pin (51a) is slidably engaged, wherein the cam pin (51a) is moved along the guide groove (65) as the cam gear (51) is rotated, whereby rotation operation of the cam pin (51a) is transformed into slide operation of the movable chassis (23) to make the movable chassis (23) come close to or come away the rotary head drum (25). The guide groove (65) includes an arc-like eject side slide portion (66) which is dented in the opposite side of the rotary head drum (25), an arc-like play side slide portion (67) which is dented in the side of the rotary head drum (25) and a slide portion (68) continued to one side of the eject side slide portion (66) and the play side slide portion (67) and which is extended in the direction substantially perpendicular to the direction in which the movable chassis (23) is moved, positions of central points of radiuses of curvature of the eject side slide portion (66) and the play side slide portion (67) being displaced in the direction perpendicular to the direction in which the movable chassis (23) is moved.

摘要： A first connector includes a first connector body; first contacts provided in an end face of the first connector body in a matrix-like manner, each of the first contacts having a first contact point; and first shield plates provided between adjacent first contact points of the first contacts in a row direction, the first shield plates extending in a column direction of the first contact points, and shielding at least the adjacent first contact points in each row. A second connector includes a second connector body; second contacts provided in an end face of the second connector body in a matrix-like manner, each of the second contacts having a second contact point, the second contact points making contact with and being electrically connected to the first contact points; and second shield plates provided between adjacent second contact points of the second contacts in a column direction, the second shield plates extending in a row direction of the second contact points and shielding at least the adjacent second contact points in each column. At least one of the first and second shield plates are formed with slits receiving ends of the other one of the first and second shield plates. The first and second shield plates are configured and arranged to be engaged in a grid pattern by connecting the first and second connectors so that a contact part including the first and second contact points is arranged within one element defined by the grid pattern.
