    摘要: Two or more original illumination units are mounted on an image reading apparatus. In reading a patched original, an image read while being illuminated along one direction is compared with an image read while being illuminated along another direction or along two directions including the one direction and another direction. In accordance with an image data difference between the two images, image processing or illumination light amount changing is performed to erase shades to be caused by a patched portion of the original.

    摘要: For the expression of a foreign gene, a virus is provided in which at least a part of a cysteine protease gene present on a genome of a baculovirus has been deleted or substituted by a marker gene. A process is also disclosed for the formation of the virus. A transfer vector for the deletion of a cysteine protease gene is also described. This transfer vector comprises a DNA fragment of a nuclear polyhedrosis virus genome, in which at least a part of a cysteine protease gene has been substituted by a marker gene, and a plasmid vector fragment. Also disclosed is a process for the production of an economic protein. This production process comprises inoculating a host insect with a gene recombination virus, said gene recombination virus having been obtained by deleting or substituting by a marker gene at least a part of a cysteine protease gene present on a genome of a baculovirus or a nuclear polyhedrosis virus; expressing an economic protein gene inserted downstream a polyhedral gene promoter, granulin gene promoter or p10 gene promoter of the gene recombination virus; and collecting the economic protein.

UCR processing and black color density extraction processing are performed so as to compensate homogeneity of gray color by changing the setting of UCR and black color toner/ink amount in an intermediate density area and high density area. When brightness (RGB) image signals are converted into density (YMCBk) image signals, in the masking UCR circuit 406-2, UCR and black color toner/ink amount is increased in the intermediate density area, while UCR is reduced in the high density area. Or UCR and black color toner/ink amount is increased in the intermediate density area and achromatic area of the intermediate density area is expressed only by the black component, while the UCR is reduced in the high density area.     摘要: A color image reading system in which an input color image signal is converted into color data signals. The color data signals are indicative of a combination of data of reference stimuli represented by vertices of a triangle of which one side circumscribes a pure purple locus, and of which the remaining two sides circumscribes two points of a spectral locus of a color degree diagram, the two points representing substantially middle colors between a color represented by one vertex of the triangle at which the remaining two sides intersect and each of two colors represented by the remaining two sides of the triangle, respectively. The input color image signal is reproduced on a color image output device in response to the provision of the color data signals.
