摘要: A multi-color electrophotographic apparatus is provided which includes a casing having an access cover, an image transfer belt unit for transferring a multi-colored image formed thereon a recording sheet, and an image-forming assembly having a plurality of image-forming units. Each image-forming unit includes a photoconductor and a developer storing therein toner of a single different color for forming a different color toner image on each photoconductor. The image-forming assembly is arranged to be movable between operative and inoperative positions. The operative position is such that each image-forming unit lies at an image-forming station with the photoconductor thereof in engagement with an image transfer belt of the image transfer belt unit to transfer the toner image formed thereon in registration with one another to the image transfer belt for forming the multi-colored image. The inoperative position is such that all the photoconductors of the image-forming assembly are out of engagement with the image transfer belt for allowing an apparatus operator to unload the image transfer belt unit from the casing through the access cover without damaging each photoconductor due to rubbing with the image transfer belt.

摘要: A color electrophotographic apparatus using a plurality of image forming units. The entire image forming unit group moves by rotation, and a toner image is transferred on an intermediate transfer belt at an image forming position. The intermediate transfer belt is variable in speed, and while the image forming unit group is moving, it is stopped or runs at low speed. The hopper in the image forming unit is divided into two sections. The toner is supplied the image forming position, and when the toner remainder sensor detects no remaining toner, the image forming unit group rotates by one revolution or more, and then the toner remainder is detected again to judge presence or absence of toner remainder. At this time, the toner in the toner hopper is agitated by the agitating member and the shape of the inner wall. After rotary move of the image forming unit group, each image forming unit is initialized sequentially. The side walls of the signal light optical path are composed of image forming units, and the color of the side walls is black. The gap between two adjacent signal forming units is 20 mm or less. One erase lamp of the photosensitive member is provided near the image forming position. During rotary motion of the image forming unit group, it is controlled so as not to disturb the toner image on the intermediate transfer belt.

摘要: An electrophotographic color image forming method whereby black, yellow, magenta and cyan toner images are superimposed on a photoconductor (54) to transfer to paper, exposure being changed between black and color in a method in which development of black is performed by a contact developing method, and development of color by a direct current electric field projection developing method. Also, in exposure for color, the exposure amount is adjusted between highlight and shadow areas. A full color image of high saturation with good balance between black and color components is reproduced by changing the exposure amount between black and color. It is also possible to obtain a color image with good reproducibility of highlight areas as well as shadow areas.

摘要: The electrical connector in accordance with the present invention comprises: contact pieces having contacts and terminal portions, a connector body which houses and holds the contact pieces; a casing shield frame unit; and arms each having one end secured to the lateral wall portions of the shield frame unit and the other end, or free end, at which contacts are formed. The contacts which come in contact with a counter electrical connector, may be displaced inside of the shield frame unit, thus minimizing the height of the electrical connector as mounted on a printed circuit board.

摘要: A process for producing a melting-anisotropic copolymerized polyester containing an alkylene terephthalate component, which comprises reacting a starting polyester composed of a dicarboxylic acid and a diol with an oxyaromatic carboxylic acid to form a copolymerized oligomer, then conducting acylating reaction by the addition of an acylating agent and further conducting polycondensating reduction thereby producing a melting-anisotropic, copolymerized polyester having a logarithmic viscosity of at least 0.2 dl/g. According to this process, a polyester of excellent physical property can be obtained at a good production efficiency.

摘要: A rotary element assembly structure in which a rotary element 53 is assembled to a tip side of a hollow shaft B1 provided upright on a pedestal 60. A cylindrical portion 53c for fitting with the hollow shaft is provided to a rotation center portion of the rotary element. In the cylindrical portion, a hook strut portion 53s that has a hook portion 53f overhanging in the radial direction at its tip side and that extends substantially in the fitting direction is arranged. A base end portion of the hook strut portion and a base end portion of the cylindrical portion are coupled with each other by a resin-made thin plate portion 53p. A small diameter portion B1s which is smaller in diameter than a hollow portion B1d of the hollow shaft is provided on the tip side of the hollow shaft. The radius of the overhang tip portion of the hook portion is set to be greater than the radius of the small diameter portion of the hollow shaft, and to be smaller than the radius of the hollow portion. By fitting the hollow shaft with the cylindrical portion of the rotary element, the hook portion on the tip side of the hook strut portion is pushed into the hollow portion via the small diameter portion on the tip side of the hollow shaft. Thereby, the hook portion engages with a stepped portion formed by the hollow portion and the small diameter portion.
